This Birthday Piggy Collaboration Card Video Tutorial

Oh my goodness, last week's Collaboration Card is so stinkin' cute!!!

We used the This Birthday Piggy stamp set and I pulled out a lot of stand alone dies and the New Horizons designer paper.

Friday Collaboration Card With The Flowering Rain Boots Bundle!

 Hi Friends!

Once again we had a fun filled evening of collaborative stamping on Friday night!

This time we used the soon to be retiring Flowering Rain Boots bundle. We used the card below, by Tamara Bertram, as our inspiration.

I challenged them to remake this card using choices made by all the viewers.

Some viewers are part of my VIP Facebook Group and they get to join me on Zoom.

Some viewers catch the live stream on my facebook page or in the group. Everyone's opinion is valued, and we vote on the most popular choice as we go along.

It's amazing how wonderful most of the cards turn out.

Collaboration Night Card - Crane Of Fortune!

 Hi Friends!

Because of Easter Weekend, we had our weekly Collaboration Night on Thursday.

I brought the Symbols Of Fortune collection to play with. It consists of the Crane Of Fortune Bundle, Symbols of Fortune specialty designer paper, Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon, Polished Dots and the Mother Of Pearl Specialty paper.

Oh my goodness, this collection/suite is stunningly beautiful.

We also used a Mojo Monday sketch for inspiration ....

I just love the card my viewers came up with!

Paradise Palms Collaboration Card

 Hi Friends!

Friday nights are the highlight of my week. We gather on zoom and I stream to my facebook page and VIP Group and create a card together.

I bring a set or collection or bundle, and sometimes a layout idea, or colour inspiration.

Viewers vote on each part of the card, and we go with the one with the most votes. Then my hands do the work.

I am teased all the time that my opinion does not matter, I am just there to do what I am told!  lol

Collaboration Card With Seas The Day!

 Hi Friends!

Oh the Seas The Day bundle is so fun to use!  We created with it during our Friday Night Collaboration in my facebook VIP Group last week.

We used this card as inspiration:

I wanted to see what the Viewers would do differently on this card that I created. And this is the card we came up with. 

During the collaboration we vote on the different steps for the card, such as colour, layout, stamps, embellishments, etc.  Then my hands do the work. But everyone on the zoom and watching the live stream gets a say in the card.

It's so fun to see what transpires, and it is never what I want. lol It's all about taking me out of my comfort zone and letting all the ladies have a say.

Designer Paper Technique With Driving By!

 Hi Friends!

Our collaboration last Friday was based on a card that I made way back in 2016. It was the first video I ever uploaded to YouTube, and also the most watched one.

Here's the card we came up with on Friday's Collaboration Night.

We used the Driving By stamp set and the soon to be released Waves Of The Ocean designer paper. I think it is super cute!  Did you notice the "hippy van"? We did paper piecing and used the Abstract Art specialty designer paper. 

Then we stamped flowers (from Sweet As A Peach) on the VW Bug card inside and on the envelope.

Catching Butterflies A Collaborative Effort Card

Hi Friends!

I am so excited to share this card with you today! Viewers from my facebook VIP Group collaborated and created this super cute card using the Catching Butterflies stamp set and a Mojo Monday Card Sketch.

Is that not the cutest card ever???? I am so in love with this card. But you know, it sure didn't start out looking like this.

After many, many votes and changes, the end result makes my heart happy.

Flowering Rain Boots Collaboration Card and Colour Challenge

 

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!  Our challenge this month is to use Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather in a project.

I brought this challenge to my Collaboration Night on Friday in my facebook VIP Group and viewers directed me to create this beautiful card using the amazing Flowering Rain Boots bundle.

We decided to add Cajun Craze and Gray Granite to the mix and stamped the pots in those colours.

They also decided to make the inside almost as pretty as the outside. We even used dimensionals inside!  That's something that is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I love it.

 During the process of creating this card, the viewers get to vote on various aspects, colours, layout, etc. They make the decisions and my hands do the work. We fondly call this "taking Glenda out of her comfort zone night", and it is so much fun!

Creating An Otterly Awesome Card With Awesome Otters!

 Hi Friends!

Thank you so much for your patience with my blog post yesterday. My computer issues are not over, but at lease I have my old one back so I can continue to share what I love!

On Friday night zoom was not working on my tablet, so we had to resort to doing our Collaboration card on a facebook live instead.

It still worked and we came up with a super cute card. But I did use a bit more "creative license" than I usually do because of the communication issue.  Oh well, it turned out great, and next Friday things should be back to normal.

Here's the card we created together ....

We used the Simply Marbelous designer paper available FREE during Sale-a-Bration, but only until Feb 28, 2022. Then it will disappear!

I love how it mimics foamy water, don't you?

On The Horizon Bundle - How To Create A Card Step By Step

 Hi Friends!

Sometimes creating a card can be intimidating. You have no idea where to start, and what the next step is.

So I created my Friday Night Collaboration Live Stamping in my VIP Group. Every Friday night at 8 pm (PT) we gather on Zoom and streamed live to my facebook VIP Group.

We start with an idea, sometimes. And we vote and suggest what to do next. I am not "allowed" to comment my ideas, I do make suggestions tho. Sometimes I even go "rogue" and just do it.

Here's the card we came up with last Friday ...

It uses the New Horizons Suite from pages 42 and 43 of the new Stampin' Up! J-J Mini Catalogue.  

Viewers had fun choosing colours, layouts and positioning. Watch the video to see how we did the snow on the mountains!
