Catching Butterflies A Collaborative Effort Card

Hi Friends!

I am so excited to share this card with you today! Viewers from my facebook VIP Group collaborated and created this super cute card using the Catching Butterflies stamp set and a Mojo Monday Card Sketch.

Is that not the cutest card ever???? I am so in love with this card. But you know, it sure didn't start out looking like this.

After many, many votes and changes, the end result makes my heart happy.

Paper Piecing With Catching Butterflies!

 Hi Friends!

Ah, this card makes my heart happy! I am so much a clean and white card person. I love cards with lots of white on them, and lots of "white space" which is blank areas that allow the eyes to rest and enjoy the main attraction (the stamped image).

I was inspired to create this card, with some customization, from a card I saw online. I completely forgot to write down whose card it was. My apologies, but if you EMAIL ME I am happy to add the credit to you!

The clouds are made with the Basic Borders dies, then I used Wink Of Stella on just the stitched edges for a pop of bling!

Her dress is stamped on Sunshine & Rainbows designer paper, then I fussy cut it out .This is called Paper Piecing.

Cute and Almost FREE Card Using The Catching Butterflies Stamp Set!

The Catching Butterflies free stamp set from Sale-a-Bration Jan-Feb 2022 is so cute!

It reminds me of our Grand Daughter Maggie. Of course, Maggie is only 19 months, but she is so cute and has such a fun personality! I can just see her chasing butterflies this summer.

I did a facebook live on Monday, January 31st in my facebook VIP Group on how to create this colourful and cute card using different designer paper.

The paper is from the Sunshine & Rainbows designer paper, also free during Sale-a-Bration. It's like half of this card is FREE!

Then I went on and shared 2 colouring techniques for the Calming Camilia stamp set, an offer on how you can get your name into a draw to win the Calming Camilia set (sorry Canadian Stampers only) and then I shared how to do the "Out Of The Box" die cutting technique.
