Mystery Stamping With the Rainbow Glimmer Paper

Hello Everyone!

On Monday morning on my facebook page, we do some Monday Mystery Stamping.

I send out a recipe ahead of time, and everyone crafts along with me, or watches and crafts later.  This is so much fun as you can't see what I am doing until the project is finished!

I give step by step instructions while I am making the card so that you can follow along with me.  This time I am offering a draw for some Designer Elements for anyone who adds a picture of their completed card to the comments of the video!  There is still time for you to enter!

You don't have to add a picture of a card you created using the same supplies or recipe, just a card you have created using Stampin' Up! products recently.  You have until noon on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 to enter the draw!

Here's the link to my facebook page, just click on it, then click on Posts, and scroll down just a smidgen until you see the facebook live video from Monday, July 20th.  I would love to see what you are creating!

I created the card first using the Beautiful Butterfly dies (thanks to Barb Stewart for this wonderful idea and card sample). Then during the live session, I used Blossoms In Bloom to create it.  Oh. My. Goodness!  The sparkle in this card is amazing.

Many of you have asked how my husband is doing. He had knee replacement surgery on July 10th, and I appreciate you asking after him.  He is doing well and progressing as he should according to the physiotherapist.  He returns to the surgeon to have his staples out and a progress look tomorrow.

The pain from the surgery is intense, but so is the pain from all the bruising. We have been taking progress pictures of the bruises (no I won't be showing them as they are awful to look at).  He has Blackberry Bliss and Gorgeous Grape coloured bruises, and now a bit of Mango Melody and Bumblbee is starting to creep in.  LOL

I hope you can watch the video and see how I created these stunning cards. I have also uploaded it to my youtube channel and you can find it by clicking on the link below.  There are lots of videos for you to watch on how to make beautiful cards.

Butterfly Easel Card

Well, we returned from our 16 day "cruise" on our sailboat safe and sound.  We had a wonderful time and now its time to get back In My Craft Room and get crafty again.
Today I have a shaped easel card to share with you.  It is made using the Beautiful Butterflies die and my Big Shot machine ... ... ...
Most of the ones I've seen out there have used different die cuts than I used.  I used the biggest butterfly (the one that you fold the cardstock over before you cut it out) and folded the cardstock in 4 so it made a really nice sized card.  Then I added the designer paper butterfly on top and put rhinestones on for the body.
It feels good to get back into crafty things again.
Stamps:  Petite Pairs
Ink:  Marina Mist
Paper: Beyond The Garden DSP
Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
Other:  Beautiful Butterflies die, Basic Rhinestones, Scallop Oval Punch, Oval Punch
Thanks for visiting, Happy Stampin' ...........

French Foliage Hello

I finally got some awesome time In My Craft Room to create a card.  I have been feeling withdrawal symptoms lately, LOL.
Here is the card I have for you today .....
I was doing the happy dance when I saw that this stamp set, French Foliage, was in the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue.  When it was in the mini I fell in love with this set, now I can continue to use it!  It is very versatile.  I cut 2 butterflies out using the Beautiful Butterflies die and Blushing Bride cardstock.  Then I spritzed them with Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz and layered them.  Here's an upclose picture of the bling.....

I used the new Swirls & Curls Verses set from the Summer Mini catalogue (level 1 hostess set, but as of today you can purchase it with your Hostess Dollars for only $13.50 Wood or $10.00 Clear Mount.

I love the little bird on this stamp.
Stamps:  Swirls & Curls Verses, French Foliage
Ink:  Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush
Cardstock:  Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Other:  Beautiful Butterflies Die, Basic Rhinestones, Movers & Shapers die, Scallop Oval punch
Thanks for visiting today, have a super day.  Happy Stampin' .....

Because I Care - CASEd card

Hello everyone, I am back again with yet another CASEd card.  This one I received as sa thank you card from a fellow demonstrator on Vancouver Island - Lisa (Rankin) Gray.  I do not know if Lisa has a blog, but want to acknowledge her super work.
I used some Basic Rhinestones on my version, but basically the rest is the same.  The hydrangea image is stamped on Very Vanilla in Early Espresso ink, then ran through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  I did ink the edges of the very vanilla piece before I put it through the folder.  The butterfly is cut out from the Beautiful Butterflies die, then I stamped the Baroque Motif stamp in VersaMark and added clear embossing powder.  Then Marina Mist ink was sponged all over the butterfly, and wiped with a bit of Windex to take the ink residue off the embossing.  6 Basic Rhinestones were added for the body.  This is actually quite a quick card to make.  I hope you have had some time to do some serious crafting in your craft room this holiday season.  I have been having such fun casing cards from blogs, friend's cards, and the main catalogue as well.  I have also created a few of my own.  I will share these with you over the next few days.  Bye for now ... ... ...  Glenda Mollet
