A Beautiful Fun Fold Card Using The Merriest Moments Stamp Set and Dies!

I was so excited when the Merriest Moments stamp set, Merriest Frames dies and Merriest Frames Hybrid embossing folder came back this year!

There was not enough time last year to create all the beautiful cards I wanted to make.

I decided to create a class for October and the cards turned out so pretty.

The moment I saw a card by Donna Leonard, I knew I HAD to make it.

I get a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest, and this one jumped out at me.

I am very fond of cards that use lots of white. White on White on White with a pop of colour are my favourite cards to look at and to make.

I did some embossing inside as well ...

I shared how to create this card last Monday during my facebook live stamping demonstration.

Here's what you will need to create it:

  Thick Basic White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2

  Basic White 5 1/4 x 4, 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, 3 x 5 1/4

  In Colour Opal Rounds

  Merriest Frames dies

  Merriest Frames Hybrid embossing folder

  Merriest Frames stamp set

  Ink:  Fresh Freesia, Old Olive

  Other: Wink Of Stella

The Sweet Candy Cane bundle from the J-D Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! is a lot of fun to use.

It is the focus of our Sweet Candy Cane Mega Stamp Camp this month.

Leanne Livingstone and I created 8 great projects and we will be sharing them with our fantastic "Peeps" in our classes in September.

I was playing with the Candy Cane dies and came up with a way to use all of the pieces when you die cut the large background die.

As you can see, there are several strips that are die cut that you wouldn't use on one card. So I die cut a second one, and mixed them together to create these 2 pretty cards ....

 

The one above was first cut using the Lights Aglow Specialty designer paper (the outside frame)

Then I saved the strips to add to the second card .... 

 

The second one was cut from some of the Gold & Silver Specialty paper that was available during Sale-a-Bration.  I saved the strips and added them to the first one.....

 

If you add Adhesive Sheets to the back of the designer paper before you die cut them, it makes creating these 2 cards so much easier.

I finished them off with the Merriest Moments stamp set and Merriest frames dies, along with the Lights Aglow dies, and Stylish Shapes dies.

Here's what you will need to create these cards (cut one set per card):

  Base - Evening Evergreen 8-1/2 x 5-1/2

  Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (inside),     3-1/2 x 4 (x 2 for pieces),    2-1/2 x 3-1/2 (sentiment)

  Gold Glimmer 2-3/8 x 2-3/8

  Designer paper  5-1/4 x 4

I also used : Festive Pearls, and Brightest Glow stamp set

Ink:  Real Red, Evening Evergreen, Melon Mambo, Soft Succulent

Using Merriest Moments To Create A Non-Christmas Card

Hi Friends!

I love to think of different ways to use my Stampin' Up! products. So when I saw that the Merriest Moments Bundle was NOT retiring, it will just be Hibernating until Next year, I was so excited.

So I sat down and decided to create a winter birthday card with it.

The background designer paper is from the Harvest Meadow package.

The frame die cut uses the Gold Shimmer Vellum

The embellishments are Wonderful Gems

All 3 of these products are retiring as of January 3rd, so I decided to use them one last time.

Merriest Moments Collaboration Replay!

 Hi Friends!

Friday nights in my VIP Group, has become one of the best times of the week.  I love gathering with friends from around the world to create a fun project.

I bring "inspiration" in the form of a fun fold, layout, colour scheme, stamp set/bundle/suite, or a card I have done previously. Then they take over and my hands do what they tell me to do!  Lol, well most of the time ;)

Last week we started with this card ....

It uses the Merriest Moments bundle and Nature's Harvest Suite. The colours are Crumb Cake and So Saffron.

Oh boy, did the viewers take over and created something amazing with the products and layout. They changed the colour scheme and added a few different elements.

Then I showed a fun tip to create the envelope image.
