I created this card for my In Colour Club this year.  Each month my Club Members get all the products in a specific colour.

This month it was Parakeet Party, which is fast becoming one of my favourite colours ever, and I paired it with the Nature's Harvest bundle.

Members can stamp in person or virtually each month, or they can create the 2 card kits they get using the video tutorials, at their leisure.

Quiet Meadow Frame Card

 Hi Friends!

 

 

 

I saw a card that used vellum to subdue the designer paper behind it, and knew right away I wanted to create something soft and pretty for the background to the Meadow and Harvest die cuts in Basic Black.

 

Do you see the sneak peek of the brand new Embellishments coming in the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue?  Those are Brushed Brass Butterflies, and they are made out of brushed brass. Yes, real brass!!!  So pretty, soft and feminine. I just love them.

Thinking Of You Card

 Hi Friends!

I recently was asked to make more cards for the veterinary clinic my sister used to own.

I have been making Thinking Of You and Welcome cards for the practice for almost 10 years now, and when my sister sold it, the new owners have decided to continue getting them from me.

I was able to use more of the Harvest Meadow designer paper that is set to retire at the end of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalogue. I will miss this paper as it has some beautiful and peaceful prints in it.

I also used the Nature's Harvest stamp set, which will NOT be retiring!  Yay!  This set, and the matching Harvest Dies, work very well with the paper, but also with other papers we have.

Sometimes is nice to make simple but stunning cards. I used Wink Of Stella to colour in the flowers in a tone on tone subtle colouring.

A Nature's Harvest Card With A Special Background Technique

Hi Friends!

I am excited to share this beautiful card with you today.  I used the Nature's Harvest stamp set and a blended background technique to create it.

And I did something a bit special on the inside too. There is a lovely "splotch" stamp in the stamp set and I used it to create the border around the inside piece of Basic White cardstock.

Merriest Moments Collaboration Replay!

 Hi Friends!

Friday nights in my VIP Group, has become one of the best times of the week.  I love gathering with friends from around the world to create a fun project.

I bring "inspiration" in the form of a fun fold, layout, colour scheme, stamp set/bundle/suite, or a card I have done previously. Then they take over and my hands do what they tell me to do!  Lol, well most of the time ;)

Last week we started with this card ....

It uses the Merriest Moments bundle and Nature's Harvest Suite. The colours are Crumb Cake and So Saffron.

Oh boy, did the viewers take over and created something amazing with the products and layout. They changed the colour scheme and added a few different elements.

Then I showed a fun tip to create the envelope image.
