Are you a Quiet Meadow type of person, or a Quiet Beach type? Maybe today's card is for you then!

Hi Friends!

Well, do you like quiet beaches or quiet meadows?

My preference is beaches. I could happily spend many, many hours on a beach, with a bevvy and a good book.

On Monday I shared how to create this beautiful card using the Quiet Meadow stamp set.

There is no die cutting on this one, or embossing. Just good old fashioned stamping and some sponging too! This type of card is called Stamps, Ink and Paper (SIP) card.

I used Lemon Lolly and Smoky Slate for the blotches and flowers. The big flower is stamped in Memento ink and coloured with Lemon Lolly and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends.

Quiet Meadow Frame Card

 Hi Friends!

I saw a card that used vellum to subdue the designer paper behind it, and knew right away I wanted to create something soft and pretty for the background to the Meadow and Harvest die cuts in Basic Black.

Do you see the sneak peek of the brand new Embellishments coming in the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue?  Those are Brushed Brass Butterflies, and they are made out of brushed brass. Yes, real brass!!!  So pretty, soft and feminine. I just love them.

I created this card on Monday during my live stamping demonstration in my facebook VIP Group. It's free to join, and everyone is welcome!

I go live there 3 times a week, and you get to see the creative steps of each project I share.  Come on over and join in on the fun. We have a lovely group of Friends there.

Collage Card Extrordinare!

May be an image of coffee cup and text

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our Autumn inspired Blog Hop!  I kind of jumped the gun yesterday and had the hop on the wrong day!

We are to share a project inspired by autumn, and this is mine. It is kind of springy, but when I look around I see the beautiful fall flowers in full bloom, so I think this qualifies?

I received a beautiful card in a swap by Tina Zink. It is a collage card and so pretty.

I knew right away that I was going to case this card and set about creating a "recipe" and supply list for it.

Here's my end result that I shared on Monday in my VIP Group.  We did a facebook live stamping demonstration and it came together beautifully.

The inside is just as pretty as the outside in my version....

I also share how to create the beautiful envelope!

Here's the video for you to watch that shares step by step how to create this stunning card, and the envelope and insides too.

If you enjoy it, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and Live Stamping. Once you have subscribed, click on the bell icon to get notification when I add to my channel.

Please enjoy the rest of the hop!

Quiet Meadow With Polished Stone Technique

 Hi Friends!

Have you given the Polished Stone Technique a try yet?  It is so much fun!

I recently had a free online class where we played with this technique a lot. The background for this card was one of the pieces I created using Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. I also added a bit of Evening Evergreen for some dark contrast, but not much.

You can see how I created this background, and others in my technique video by CLICKING HERE.

To create this card you will need:

Vellum 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 with the Polished Stone Technique - then I cut it down to 5 x 3-3/4

Thick Basic White card base

Daffodil Delight 5-1/4 x 4

Basic White 5 x 3-3/4 to put behind the techniqued vellum, and 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 for the sentiment and 5-1/4 x 4 for inside

Basic Black 2-1/4 x 5-1/2

Playful Pets twine 16"

Matte Black Dots

Quiet Meadow Card and Video Tutorial

 Hi Friends!

I was finally home to do a live stamping demonstration for you on Tuesday!

Some Tuesday mornings at 10 am (PT) I go live on my YouTube Channel and share how to create a project.

This week I re-created a card I received in a Canadian swap by Stephanie Pletscher.

Stephanie did a collage card using the Quiet Meadow stamp set and Scalloped Contour dies.

I love collage cards, but struggle to create them myself. When I received this one I knew I was going to re-create it (or case it).

Here is the video from Tuesday on my YouTube Channel.

Quiet Meadow Fun Fold And Cased Card

Hi Friends!

I received the front of this card in a Canadian Swap I participated in from Joanne McTavish.

I liked it and decided to create it and change it up a bit. When I started I had Fun Fold pop into my mind. I don't usually come up with fun fold ideas on my own, and to be honest I don't know if this has been done before or not.

But I carried on and crated this fun fold that has 2 cards in one.

The Front is basically as Joanne did it:

Then I opened it and used the same layout as the swap card ...

But, one more flip and this is where the magic happens!  Yup it has an inside as well!

It is basically two cards folded into one, with some flipping and flapping involved.

If you like this card, check out my video below. I shared how to create it during my Thursday Drop In Live Stamping in my facebook VIP Group last Thursday.

CLICK HERE to join my VIP Group. It's FREE and available wherever you live.

Here's the video on how to create it, you can also watch it on my YouTube Channel along with hundreds of other videos as well.

I hope you enjoy the video and the card. Thanks for watching.
