Case The Catty With Peaceful Deer!

 Hi Friens!

Sometimes I am at a loss for inspiration for a card!  How about you?

When this happens I sometimes turn to our beautiful Stampin' Up! catalogues.  I saw a card on page 8 of the Sale-a-Bration Brochure, and decided to re-create it.

The card in the brochure uses the new Cloche Shaker Domes, but I wanted to make a flat card instead.

This is what I came up with.....

I will be doing a live stamping presentation on how to create this card later on in my facebook VIP Group.

CLICK HERE to join my group and watch the process unfold.

The list of supplies I used to create this card can be found HERE.

And the measurements:

Crumb Cake 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and 2 x 3

Peaceful Prints Designer Paper

  Stripe 1-1/4 x 3-7/8 (x 3 pieces)

  Tree 3/4 x 3-7/8 (x 2 pieces)

Punched or Fussy Cut Deer Image

Basic White 3-1/2 x 3-1/2

Garden Green 1-1/4 x 5-1/4

Please enjoy, and I hope to see you soon in my VIP Group!

Quiet Meadow With Polished Stone Technique

 Hi Friends!

Have you given the Polished Stone Technique a try yet?  It is so much fun!

I recently had a free online class where we played with this technique a lot. The background for this card was one of the pieces I created using Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight. I also added a bit of Evening Evergreen for some dark contrast, but not much.

You can see how I created this background, and others in my technique video by CLICKING HERE.

To create this card you will need:

Vellum 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 with the Polished Stone Technique - then I cut it down to 5 x 3-3/4

Thick Basic White card base

Daffodil Delight 5-1/4 x 4

Basic White 5 x 3-3/4 to put behind the techniqued vellum, and 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 for the sentiment and 5-1/4 x 4 for inside

Basic Black 2-1/4 x 5-1/2

Playful Pets twine 16"

Matte Black Dots

Seascape Meets Polished Stone Technique

 Hi Friends!

A while ago I did a Free Online Class where we played with the Polished Stone Technique for a couple of hours.

You can see that video HERE on my YouTube Channel.

One of the backgrounds I made used blues and greens, so I decided to add some sea life to it. You can see the start of the card in the video, and here is the finished card....

I added some coral in Silver Embossing Powder, then cut the Seahorse from the Sea Life Dies out of some In Colour Shimmer Vellum - Pale Papaya.

                                SEA LIFE DIES

 2021–2023 IN COLOR SHIMMER VELLUM

The sentiment comes from the Encircled In Friendship stamp set. I just love this sentiment and I so enjoy sending cards out with it.

ENCIRCLED IN FRIENDSHIP BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

Then I die cut it with one of the dies from the Potted Succulents dies.

I hope you enjoy the card and maybe give the Polished Stone Technique a try! It's real easy and very fun!  Stay tuned to my facebook VIP Group for some more Polished Stone stamping!

Polished Stone Birthday Card

Hi Friends!

I received this card back in May for my birthday, by my friend and Team member, Valerie Barker.

Valerie is a very talented stamper and I love how she used the Polished Stone Technique for the background and the focal point of this card.

We try to have Team Swaps with each new catalogue and are busy creating for the new July to December Mini Catalogue that goes live to our customers on August 3rd along with the summer Sale-a-Bration sale!

I hope you are enjoying your summer so far.  We sure are, it's so nice to be able to travel around a bit again.

Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and live stamping!
