Catalogue Launch Party Replay and Make ’n Take Card with New Products

 Hi Friends!

The brand new May–August Catalogue is here, and it is filled with so many beautiful new products and creative possibilities.

In this Catalogue Launch Party replay, I walk you through some of the new items, share card samples, and create a Make ’n Take card using one of the new bundles. It’s such a great way to get a feel for what’s new and start planning your next projects.

The Make ’n Take card features a fresh floral design with layered elements and simple techniques using the Lily Of The Valley bundle and the Valley In Bloom suite.  It comes together beautifully. It’s a layout you can easily recreate with different papers and colours.

Handmade floral card featuring lily of the valley designer paper, layered panels, stamped floral images, and “To a forever kind of friend” sentiment, created as a Make ’n Take for a catalogue launch party.

From Flat to Wow: Make an Embossed Floral Card Using Bordered in Beauty and Embossed Layers

Hi Friends!

If you love adding texture and dimension to your handmade cards, this project is one you are going to want to try.

Elegant handmade birthday card featuring teal floral designer paper, layered die-cut leaves, and a sentiment label, accented with embossed texture using the Floral Spray Embossing Folder and Bordered in Beauty bundle, creating a soft and dimensional card design.

Elegant handmade birthday card featuring teal floral designer paper, layered die-cut leaves, and a sentiment label, accented with embossed texture using the Floral Spray Embossing Folder and Bordered in Beauty bundle, creating a soft and dimensional card design.

For this card, I started with a beautiful layout and stepped it up using the Floral Spray Embossing Folder along with the Bordered in Beauty bundle. The combination of soft floral patterns, layered elements, and embossed details creates a card that feels both elegant and easy to recreate.

This is the original card:

And this was another one I created using the same layout:

One of my favourite things about this design is how versatile it is. You can change the colours, switch up the paper, or use different sentiments, and it will look completely different every time. It is the kind of layout that quickly becomes a go-to in your craft room.

The embossed leaves add just the right amount of texture without overpowering the design, while the layered focal point keeps everything balanced and eye-catching.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below where I walk you through the full process, including tips for layering and adding texture.

This is a great card to add to your collection, and one you will find yourself making again and again.

How To Make A Frame For A Quick And Easy Birthday Card - Or Any Occasion You Like!

 Hi Friends!

I recently hosted a Happy Birthday Card class with my Peeps in Powell River, BC

They requested a class of "lots of birthday cards" and that's what I delivered!

I am sharing the first one with you today......

and the inside ....

  • I started out by applying a 4-1/4 x 3 strip of By The Bay designer paper (the sahara sand and foiling one)
  • Then we added a 2-1/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Polished Pink cardstock to the leftish of center, and kept it at the top leaving a border along the bottom
  • Next a 2-3/8 x 4-1/4 piece of Awash In Beauty designer paper over top of the Polished Pink cardstock
  • The circle frame is cut out of a 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 piece of Merry Merlot cardstock by stacking the Layering Circle Dies (#4 and #6 counted from the center out). We popped this frame up on dimensionals
  • The Happy Birthday is stamped on a 5/8 x 3" piece of Basic White cardstock in Mossy Meadow ink using the Go To Greetings stamp set. Then we used the Happy Labels Pick A Punch to crop the ends.  This is also popped up on dimensionals
  • Some Classic Matte Dots were added to finish off the front.
  • For the inside (I always finish off my insides, I figure I put a lot of work into the front, so the inside should be finished as well) I stamped one of the Decorative Borders stamps in Merry Merlot.
  • I also stamped a Medium Basic White envelope to match

This layout can be used with any papers, stamps and die cuts you like.  It would look great in ovals, squares, rectangles or even hexagon dies from the Beautiful Shapes dies.

You can find a list of the supplies I used to create this card under my signature below.

A Class Re-Useable Layout With Flowering Rain Boots!

 Hi Friends!

Today's card uses one of those classic layouts that work for many different cards.

I shared how to create this card with my Team during our January Stamping and Recognition Night.

With this layout you can choose any theme, any colours, use designer paper or not, and it works with any stamp set.

If you don't have the Tailored Tag dies, no problem! Just cut a white piece of cardstock approximately the same size as the tag and use that. Punch a hole in the top for the ribbon and you are off to the races!

Here's what you need to create this card:
Base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
Designer Paper 5-1/4 x 3
Cardstock 5-1/4 x 1
Basic White 5-1/45 x 4 (inside)
2-3/4 x 4-3/4 (pieces)
2-1/4 x 4-1/2 (tag)
5/8 x 4 (sentiment)
Ribbon 7-1/2" to wrap around and 3" for the tag
Twine 4"
Iridescent Rhinestones, Tailored Tags dies, Flowering Rain Boots bundle

How To Use The Same Layout For Many Different Cards

 Hi Friends!

This past Monday I shared how to use one layout to create many different cards. All you need to do is change the designer paper, colour theme, stamp set/bundle and you have a new card.

This is the card I originally started with back in December when I created some thinking of you cards for a business that commissions my cards  .....

Then it progressed to this card that I made for a swap I was in   ....

And finally this one .... I love the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle!

This is the card I created on Monday night for my Make It With Me Monday Live Stamping in my VIP Group. I pulled out the Tulip Fields bundle and used those gorgeous Windmill Fields Dies. They are spectacular!

If you would like to see how I created it, please watch the video below. If you enjoy the, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and Live Stamping. Once you have subscribed, click on the bell icon to get notification when I add to my channel.
