Hats Off Interactive Masculine Card Tutorial!

 Hi Friends!

Last Thursday in my facebook VIP Group I shared how I created this fun interactive card!
It's sometimes so difficult to make masculine cards, but this one came together quickly.
Here's the inside of the card.

The Hats Off Bundle goes so great with the Give It A Whirl Dies! I can't wait to share how I created this cute card that swirls in the hat area to provide extra sentiments or pictures.

I saw this idea on the internet and set out to recreate it myself. Hubby's birthday is still a couple of months away, but I now have his birthday card done!

Check out the video to see the other 2 sentiments that rotate in the hat! It's so cool. There is a lot of dimension to this card as all the layers are up on dimensionals. And there is a secret to how I got the die cut pieces to rotate on the brad in the front of the hat! Watch the video and it will all be revealed! A simple and effective way to get the gap in there needed for the rotation.

I added some square gems and 3 stars cut using the Give It A Whirl dies. I just love the In Good Taste designer paper in the background.

The Hats Off Bundle includes the Hats Off Stamp Set and the Hat Builder Dies.

HATS OFF PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

Send a hats-off salute to all your favourite people! The Hats Off Stamp Set includes a baseball cap image with a variety of badge images to personalize the cap with! This is such a fun set that is not only perfect for all the guys, but is also neutral enough in design to be given to any gender. This stamp set also comes with a number of matching sentiments, perfect for a number of occasions. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colours you want.

HAT BUILDER DIES Build your own hat with personalized labels! This is a fun die set to send with your cardmaking projects and is also a great decorative element to add to your adventure filled scrapbooking pages.

Friday Collaboration Card - A Chicken Combo!

 Hi Friends!

Last Friday's Late Night Stamping Collaboration took me so far outside my comfort zone!  But the card came together, finally, and the end result is a truly fun and colourful interactive card!

During this creative experience, the viewers get to tell me how to make the card, and my hands do the work.

This time it started out with my suggestion of the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles.

Viewers requested Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape.

What do you think?  Do you like it?  Is it inside your comfort zone?

Here's the video on the creative collaboration. You can also see how I created the embossed background with trees at the top and "stones" at the bottom!  Yup so easy to do.  Then see the secret to stopping the background from sagging! No saggy cards in my craft room.

The fun interactive part is done using the Give It A Whirl Dies on page 163 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

Give It A Whirl Dies on Friday Collaboration

Hi Friends!

Tonight we will be collaborating on a card using the Give It A Whirl Dies.

I shared the birthday card I created for our Grand Daughter using these dies in THIS POST.

It also has a link to the video on my YouTube Channel from last Monday's facebook live.

These dies are a fun way to create an interactive card.  I dare you to make it and not play with it!  You will! I sure did.

I hope you can join us on zoom or catch the live stream in my VIP Group tonight at 8 pm (Pacific Time). It's a group collaboration, and your input will be welcomed.  I have no control how things turn out, it is completely up to the audience!

Give It A Whirl Grand Daughter's First Birthday Card

Hello Friends!
Last Saturday was our Grand Daughter's first birthday. Although we could not be with her, I created this special card for her.
It uses the Give It A Whirl dies.  I completely overlooked them in the catalogue as they are in the Dies section on page 163 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  There is no stamp set with them, you can use it with a variety of sets. And boy is it fun to play with!
The images inside the heart rotate for some fun interaction.

It was so much fun figuring out what I wanted to put on the rotating wheel. But I think it turned out great.

I shared how to create this card during my Make It Monday Live Stamping in my facebook VIP Group. But you can catch how to make it by watching the video.

I hope you enjoy the card and the journey on how to make it.
