Stampin’ Blends on Vellum with the Charming Day Bundle: A Stunning Card Tutorial

Happy Friday! I’m excited to wrap up the week by sharing another beautiful card I created with the Charming Day bundle. This time, I explored a different colouring technique that I demonstrated live in my VIP group and on YouTube this past Wednesday.

The technique I showcased is colouring on vellum with Stampin’ Blends. It’s a gorgeous way to add vibrant, translucent color to your projects, giving your stamped images a stained-glass look that’s both elegant and eye-catching. The Charming Day bundle is perfect for this technique, with its crisp, detailed images that shine through the soft finish of vellum.

During my live demonstration, I shared how to blend colours seamlessly on vellum, control bleeding, and adhere your vellum layers without visible glue marks. The result is a card that’s light, airy, and truly unique.

Center Step Fun Fold Card with Sunflower Embossing Folder and Beautiful Coloring Technique

 Hi Friends!

Today, I’m excited to share the gorgeous card I created during my live stamping demonstration—a Sunflower Center Step Fun Fold card that is bursting with cheerful color and amazing dimension.

This project spotlights the Sunflower Embossing Folder, which adds incredible texture and detail to any card. For this design, I paired the sunflower with a soft, sunny color palette and a gentle ink blending technique that brings the petals to life with delicate shading and depth. The large sunflower focal point absolutely steals the show and makes this handmade card perfect for birthdays or any happy occasion.

The Center Step Fun Fold layout is one of my favorites because it’s surprisingly easy to create while giving your cards a dramatic, three-dimensional look. The stepped layers frame the embossed sunflower beautifully and leave plenty of space for a greeting and embellishments. I used subtle pearls to add a touch of elegance and a pop of shine.

During my live demonstration, I shared step-by-step instructions for creating the Center Step Fun Fold base, embossing techniques, and how to color the sunflower for maximum impact. Whether you’re new to fun folds or a seasoned paper crafter, you’ll love how this technique transforms a single sunflower image into a bold, eye-catching centerpiece.

How to Create the Carved Wood Technique with the Sunflower Embossing Folder for Stunning Handmade Cards

Today I’m excited to share a unique technique that brings incredible texture and depth to your handmade cards—the Carved Wood Technique using the Sunflower Embossing Folder.

During my recent live stamping demonstration, I walked through how to achieve this eye-catching carved wood effect. It transforms the Sunflower Embossing Folder into something completely new and unexpected. The result is a beautiful sunflower design that looks as if it’s been delicately etched into woodgrain, giving your card a warm, rustic elegance that’s perfect for so many occasions.

For my finished project, I paired this gorgeous embossed background with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder and dies to create the bold “Hello” greeting. The combination of rich yellows, gold highlights, and intricate textures makes this card a real showstopper.

If you’ve been looking for ways to get more creative with your embossing folders or want to add a fresh twist to your card-making, this technique is definitely worth trying. The Sunflower Embossing Folder is a standalone product, so it’s easy to pair with any sentiment or embellishments you love.

Master the Art of Leaf Coloring: Techniques for the Changing Leaves Hybrid Bundle.

How To Create A Panel Fun Fold Card!

The Panel fold looks quite difficult, but it is super easy to do.

I shared how to create this beautiful card using the Happiness Abounds bundle and Hues of Happiness designer paper on Monday on my facebook page and in my facebook VIP Group.

I also shared a technique for colouring the images with Wink Of Stella that adds colour and bling at the same time!

Colouring Technique With In The Moment Stamp Set

 Hi Friends!

I thought I would share another great technique using the In The Moment stamp set with you today.

I did a free online class on this technique. All you do is stamp the image on Basic Black cardstock using VersaMark ink, then apply White Embossing Powder.

The colouring is done with a White Watercolour Pencil, or you can use colours as well.  Some colours work and some don't you will have to experiment.

This card also uses the New Horizons designer paper. This paper is amazing and so versatile. No matter what you do with it, it's so pretty.

Black Marker Technique With In The Moment Stamp Set

 Hi Friends!

Have you tried the "Black Marker Technique" yet? It's so much fun.

We did it recently in my Team Get Together and everyone loved it.

All you do is stamp your image in Memento ink, then colour the image in using the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends.

Then I found if you then go over it with the Stampin' Write Basic Black Marker you can make it even darker and less transparent.

I used the In The Moment and Tulip Fields stamp  set for this card. They are stamped on some New Horizons designer paper.

Then I added 3 black dots from the Classic Matte Dots to finish it off.  This would also look beautiful on a sunset type background. What do you think?

Timeless Tulips And Using Leftover DSP Strips!

 Hi Friends!

Last Thursday I did a live stamping demonstration in my VIP Group and shared another way to use those left over designer paper strips.

With the retiring of all of the designer papers in the 2021 July to Dec Mini Catalogue, we all have piles of the paper sitting unused, I am sure.

So it's time to "Just Use That DSP"!

Strips and 12x6 pieces for envelopes is the best way to use up every little scrap of those beautiful papers.
