Gears & Textures Fun Fold Card Tutorial with Industrial Layered Gear Design

Hi Friends!

This week I shared a bold and dimensional fun fold card using the Gears & Textures bundle, and it is such a fantastic option for masculine cards or anyone who loves industrial-inspired designs.

Handmade fun fold card using the Gears & Textures bundle featuring layered metal gear die cuts, chain accents, plaid designer paper, and a vertical “Hope You Feel Your Best Soon” sentiment.

Layering the gear dies creates incredible depth and movement on the front of the card. I combined textured stamped backgrounds with plaid designer paper and chain elements to add visual interest without overwhelming the design. The mix of strong shapes and softer circular textures keeps everything balanced while still making a statement.

If masculine cards feel challenging, this bundle makes it easy. The dies do most of the heavy lifting, and with a few dimensionals and thoughtful placement, you can create a card that feels detailed and intentional.

You can watch the full tutorial in the replay and see exactly how this fun fold comes together step by step.

Elegant Greenery Card Using the Greenery Lane Bundle and Nature Walk DSP

 Hi Friends!

This handmade card was created using the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane bundle paired with Nature Walk Designer Series Paper, and it’s a great example of how natural elements and layered greenery can create a calm, elegant design.

Handmade greenery card created with the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane bundle and Nature Walk Designer Series Paper featuring layered leaves, soft teal and neutral tones, gold accents, and a “here for you” sentiment.

Handmade greenery card created with the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane bundle and Nature Walk Designer Series Paper featuring layered leaves, soft teal and neutral tones, gold accents, and a “here for you” sentiment.

For this project, I focused on letting the greenery take centre stage while keeping the overall layout clean and balanced. The layered leaves add depth and movement, while the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper brings in subtle pattern and warmth without overpowering the focal point. This combination works beautifully for many occasions and is especially nice when you want a card that feels thoughtful and timeless.

One of the things I love about working with greenery is how versatile it is. By changing the sentiment or colours slightly, this same layout could easily be adapted for birthdays, thank-you cards, sympathy, or encouragement. The key is giving the layers enough space so each element can be appreciated.

This card was created during a live stamping demonstration where I shared tips for layering die cuts, choosing focal points, and balancing patterned paper with solid cardstock. If you’ve ever struggled with knowing how much is “just enough,” this project is a great one to watch.

The full video replay is included below so you can follow along step by step and create this card at your own pace.

Peaceful Dock Card with a Stamped Background Using the Boat Image

 Hi Friends!

For this Peaceful Dock card, I focused on creating a background using one simple image. By stamping the boat image multiple times, the background takes on a layered, textured look that feels calm and cohesive without overwhelming the design.

Peaceful Dock handmade card featuring a stamped background created by repeating the boat image from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Dock bundle.

Peaceful Dock handmade card featuring a stamped background created by repeating the boat image from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Dock bundle.

This is a great technique for stretching your stamp sets and creating interest without extra layers or embellishments. It works especially well with scenic images and can easily be adapted using stamps you already have in your collection.

The video tutorial below goes over all the supplies and measurements needed for the card, along with tips for spacing and alignment when creating a stamped background.

As a bonus during the live demonstration, I also created a birthday card using Pride flag colours, designed completely on the fly. This card wasn’t planned ahead of time — it came together organically during the live, and the new Stampin’ Positioner Tool made it easy to line up the images while adjusting the design as I went. It was a fun, creative moment that shows how powerful it can be to simply trust the process and let inspiration guide you.

Trusty Tools Birthday Card with Country Woods Designer Paper

 Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing a bold and fun birthday card that I created during my live demonstration featuring the Trusty Tools bundle. This bundle is perfect for making masculine cards, handyman-themed projects, or just adding a fun tool twist to your stamping.

For this card, I paired the bundle with the Country Woods designer paper, cutting the DSP into strips and laying them in a pattern for the background. This is such a fantastic way to use up those smaller pieces of paper that we all seem to collect. The wood-toned colours give a rustic feel that really makes the drill stand out.

The highlight of this card is the drill itself, which I created in Poppy Parade and Basic Black for a striking two-tone look. During the video tutorial, I shared tips and tricks on how to piece the die cuts together and add little touches that make the drill look realistic and dimensional.

Whether you need a birthday card for the handyman in your life, or just love the playful vibe of this bundle, this project is sure to inspire you.

You can watch the full step-by-step video tutorial below, where I walk through the entire process of creating this card. It includes the layout, tips on working with smaller DSP pieces, and how to create the two-tone drill.

This Trusty Tools birthday card is a keeper, and I know I’ll be making more of them. I hope it inspires you to grab your scraps of Country Woods paper and try it out yourself.

Quick and easy birthday cards for the Men in your life, or anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

 Hi Friends!

I grabbed the Delicate Forest dies from the Jan-Apr Mini Catalogue as soon as the catalogue came out.

Just the dies, not the stamp set, because I had so many ideas rolling around in my head on how to use them.

Last Monday I shared how to create this quick and easy card during my facebook live ...

The original card uses the Meandering Meadow 6x6 designer paper. I went on and used some different papers to change up the look a bit, and made 3 more cards!

This card can be quick and easy with the addition of Adhesive Sheets on the back of the designer paper.

Here's a sneak peek of one of the cards. You can click on the video link below to see all of the papers I used.
