How To Create a Pretty Card with the Greenery Lane Bundle and Washi Tape

 Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing a beautiful botanical card featuring the Greenery Lane bundle and Greenery Lane Washi Tape.

Handmade botanical greeting card using Greenery Lane bundle and Greenery Lane Washi Tape featuring layered greenery, gold flower accent and “wishing you well” sentiment.

Handmade botanical greeting card using Greenery Lane bundle and Greenery Lane Washi Tape featuring layered greenery, gold flower accent and “wishing you well” sentiment.

The Washi Tape makes it incredibly easy to create full leafy layers that look detailed and dimensional without a lot of stamping. By layering the greenery behind the focal flower and sentiment banner, the card feels lush while still keeping a clean and elegant layout.

The embossed background adds subtle texture that helps the botanical images stand out without overwhelming the design.

This card is perfect for encouragement, friendship, or simply letting someone know you’re thinking of them.

To create this card:
  • Adhere a length of the Washi Tape to a 3 x 8" piece of Basic White cardstock
  • Die cut a bunch of image using the dies from the Greenery Lane bundle.
  • Emboss a 5-1/8 x 3-7/8" piece of Basic White cardstock using the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder
  • Adhere the embossed layer to a 5-1/4 x 4" piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock
  • Adhere these layers to an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" Thick Basic White card base
  • Stamp the sentiment in Memento black ink on a 7/8 x 4" piece of Basic White, flag the right hand side
  • Use a flower image from the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack
  • Arrange the die cut leaves behind the Gold Flower from the Ephemera Pack, and the stamped sentiment. Adhere them to the card front using Tombo Glue
  • Adhere the flower using Tombo Glue
  • Adhere the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Stamp a 5-1/4 x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside, and stamp an envelope to coordinate with the card.
  • Adhere the inside layer to the card
  • Add Moody Palette Glossy Dots to finish the card

Elegant Greenery Card Using the Greenery Lane Bundle and Nature Walk DSP

 Hi Friends!

This handmade card was created using the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane bundle paired with Nature Walk Designer Series Paper, and it’s a great example of how natural elements and layered greenery can create a calm, elegant design.

Handmade greenery card created with the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane bundle and Nature Walk Designer Series Paper featuring layered leaves, soft teal and neutral tones, gold accents, and a “here for you” sentiment.

For this project, I focused on letting the greenery take centre stage while keeping the overall layout clean and balanced. The layered leaves add depth and movement, while the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper brings in subtle pattern and warmth without overpowering the focal point. This combination works beautifully for many occasions and is especially nice when you want a card that feels thoughtful and timeless.

One of the things I love about working with greenery is how versatile it is. By changing the sentiment or colours slightly, this same layout could easily be adapted for birthdays, thank-you cards, sympathy, or encouragement. The key is giving the layers enough space so each element can be appreciated.

This card was created during a live stamping demonstration where I shared tips for layering die cuts, choosing focal points, and balancing patterned paper with solid cardstock. If you’ve ever struggled with knowing how much is “just enough,” this project is a great one to watch.

The full video replay is included below so you can follow along step by step and create this card at your own pace.

Nature’s Symphony Fun Fold Card Using Nature Walk Designer Paper

 Hi Friends!

One of the highlights of my January Catalogue Launch Party was this beautiful Make ’n Take fun fold card, and I’m so happy to share it with you here on the blog.

Handmade fun fold card created with Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Symphony dies and Nature Walk designer paper, featuring layered leaf die cuts, soft textured embossing, a sending happiness sentiment, and a teal card base with nature-inspired patterns.

Handmade fun fold card created with Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Symphony dies and Nature Walk designer paper, featuring layered leaf die cuts, soft textured embossing, a sending happiness sentiment, and a teal card base with nature-inspired patterns.

This project is all about combining texture, soft colour, and an easy fun fold layout that looks impressive but is very approachable to create. It’s the kind of card that feels special the moment it’s opened, making it perfect for sending encouragement, happy mail, or a thoughtful note just because.

For this design, I used the Nature’s Symphony dies along with the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper, and they truly shine together. The layered leaf die cuts add elegant dimension and movement, while the designer paper brings in calm, nature-inspired patterns that work beautifully for a wide variety of occasions.

This fun fold layout is especially satisfying to make because it allows the designer paper to take centre stage without overwhelming the card. The balance of texture, layers, and white space gives the finished project a polished look while still keeping the construction simple and enjoyable.

This card was featured as the Make ’n Take project during my Catalogue Launch Party, and it was a big hit. It’s a wonderful example of how versatile the Nature Walk Designer Series Paper can be and how easily the Nature’s Symphony dies can elevate a design with just a few well-placed elements.

Below, I’ll be adding the full measurements along with a complete step-by-step tutorial so you can recreate this card at home or adapt the layout using your own favourite stamps and papers. It’s a great fold to keep in your back pocket because it works equally well for cards, class projects, and even swaps.

If you decide to give this fun fold a try, I’d love to see what you create. This is one of those layouts that really comes to life when you put your own spin on it.
