Seven Dwarfs - Seventh One - Sleepy

Yeeha, I finally completed all 7 Dwarfs in the series.  They were so much fun to do, and I loved creating individual cards for each one.  If you missed the previous ones, here are the links to them:
Sneezy;   Grumpy;   BashfulDopeyHappy;  and Doc.  And - drum roll please - last but not least

 "Sleepy"~~

Are they not the cutest things ever.  This is the last one of Ellen Kemper's Seven Dwarf series.  I used her head, and added the body, then created the card around him.  I hope he has a peaceful, restful sleep!
Stamps:  Sincere Salutations
Ink:  Basic Black
Paper:  Bride Specialty DSP
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Always Artichoke
Other:  Pinking Heart Border punch, Tag Corner punch, Kraft Corderoy Buttons with faux stitching (scraps of coordinating cardstock through the button holes)
Thanks for joining me today.  I will be back tomorrow with a Gift Card Holder I created for our DIL's recent birthday.  I had to wait till she received it before I could post it.

Seven Dwarfs - Sixth One - Doc....

As promised, here is "Doc".  He started out as another one of Ellen Kemper's creations, and I added the body and created the card for him.  As our Grandson, James would say....  Ta Da!

This card was a bit more difficult to put together, it just would not come the first 3 tries.  There was a lot of discarded cardstock on my craft table by the time I finally got one I was happy with.  I resurrected some retired Christmas DSP from last year for this one so I could match the Real Red and Soft Suede in the image.
Stamps:  Fundamental Phrases
Ink:  Real Red
Paper:  Christmas Cocoa DSP
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Real Red, Soft Suede
Other:  1/4" circle punch, Curly Label punch, "Doc" punchie image
One more of these fun punchie images to go ~ "Sleepy".  I will be back tomorrow with him (I hope)!  I am getting posession of our Grandson for a Gramma Overnight and I can't wait.  I hope to get Sleepy done before he arrives, so keep your fingers crossed.  Ah Gramma time, I just love it.  Too bad my DH is away and won't be here to experience this with me....... hmmm or is it???  Ha ha, this way I don't have to share hime with anyone.  Heehee, my bad!
Bye for now..................  Glenda Mollet

Seven Dwarfs - Fifth One - Happy!

I am finally getting the cards made for the final 3 Dwarfs in my Seven Dwarfs Monthly Punchie Series.  These are Ellen Kemper's creations (the heads) and I added the bodies, then created the cards for them.
Here is Happy...........
I have used this layout before and really like it.  I used Sweet Pea DSP and the new Island Oasis DSP, I love how they co-ordinate.  Here's the complete recipe:
Stamps:  Happy Everything
Ink:  Soft Suede
Paper:  Sweet Pea DSP, Island Oasis DSP
Cardstock:  So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, (image uses Tangerine Tango and Soft Suede)
Other:  Happy Punchie image, non SU embossing folder
Not too many items used, so its great for a class and fun to do.  I just love how bright and "Happy" the entire card turned out.  Isn't it wonderful how some cards just seem to create themselves?
I hope your day was awesome, return tomorrow for "Doc" and the following day "Sleepy".
That's it for tonight.........................  Glenda Mollet

Seven Dwarfs - Fourth One - Dopey!

I think this dwarf is the favourite of a lot of people.  He is just so cute and you just want to hug him!!!  Here he is, another one of Ellen Kemper's creations...........
This one is the same layout as yesterdays creation.  I am doing them both in the same month and loosely followed Mojo Monday 137 sketch.  Here's the recipe for this little cutie patootie:
Cardstock:  Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, Certainly Celery
Ink:  Basic Black
Other:  Tag and Small Tag punches, Old Olive 1-1/4" GG Ribbon, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
This ribbon treatment was really fun to do.  I tied if first with a bit of white crochet cotton, then tied the taffeta ribbon around it and made a bow.  I added a bit of crochet cotton to the hole I punched in the tag sentiment.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog, and have a super duper day......  Glenda Mollet

Seven Dwarfs - Third One - Bashful - Mojo Monday 137

This card is the third one in my Seven Dwarfs series for my Monthly Punchie Class (held on the last Tuesday of each month, if you want to join us!). This one is Bashful.....  These dwarfs are so cute, they are the creation of Ellen Kemper (see previous posts for her link).  I have added bodies to them all.

I sort of followed the Mojo Monday 137 sketch for this layout, and the next one also which I will post tomorrow for you - Dopey!
Here's the recipe for you:
Cardstock:  Certainly Celery, Whisper White, So Saffron
Paper:  Sweet Pea DSP
Ink:  Basic Black

I hope you enjoy this little cutie, and he brightens up your day, even just a bit.  Come back tomorrow for Dopey........   Glenda Mollet

Seven Dwarfs - Second One - Grumpy

Another one of Ellen Kemper's Seven Dwarfs.  This one is Grumpy!  Don't you just love his eyebrows!!!!
I stayed on the same style as for yesterday's dwarf card HERE with the sketch for the card.  And this one is also quick and easy and uses some ribbon I've had for a while and not used yet (I know, how unusual!! LOL).
Here's what I used:
Stamps:  Hello Again
Ink:  Soft Suede
Paper:  Autumn Traditions DSP
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Soft Suede, Real Red
Other:  Real Red 1" Double Stitched GG Ribbon, Large and Small Oval punches, Trio Flower Punch, Punchie Image
I put a couple of the Trio Flowers punched in real red in behind the large oval real red punch just to jazz it up a bit, it was kind of plain.  Inside it says "Blessings Brighten When We Count Them".

I am finished the next image - Happy - but have not done the card yet.  I will post it when it's done, but I don't need the card until the last Tuesday in May, so it may be a while.

Enjoy and have a great day.......

Seven Dwarfs - First One - Sneezy

I had a request to do the Seven Dwarfs in my Monthly Punchie Class.  Ellen Kemper created the seven little men, and I can't thank her enough.  This is the first one in my series - Sneezy.
I was packing to come to Tofino last night when this card hit me and I had to stop everything right there and then and create it.  I wanted to do a Get Well card, and I think this kind of looks like Sneezy is in bed.  Inside I hand wrote "I heard you're feeling a bit Sneezy" and used the stamp sentiment "Get Well Soon". How stinking cute is this guy. Ellen just did the heads, but I had to add bodies.  I got a list from somewhere that lists the colours of hats and tunics for each dwarf.
To make this card I used:
Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Soft Suede
Paper:  Afternoon Tea DSP (retired)
Cardstock:  Soft Suede, Kraft, Basic Black, Whisper White
Other:  Top Note Die, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Pumpkin Pie 1-1/4" Striped GG Ribbon, Modern Label and Word Window punches.
This card went together quite quick and easy which was a good thing as it was almost 11 pm (my pumpkin hour) and at the tail end of two days of fun with our grandson, James.  Go visit Ellen's blog, you will be surprised at the wide variety of punched images she does.
Thanks for visiting today, I will be back as soon as I get my next Dwarf card done........
