Neutral Noel Z Fold Christmas Card Tutorial

Hi Friends!

If you love Christmas fun folds, this Neutral Noel Z Fold Christmas Card has so many beautiful details to enjoy! I created it using the Welcome Noel and Noel Tidings Bundles along with the Neutral Noel Specialty Designer Paper.

Neutral Noel Z Fold Christmas card featuring layered neutral houses, evergreen branches, metallic gold foliage, patterned specialty paper and a Merry Christmas sentiment.

The layered Christmas houses and greenery create a cozy holiday scene, while all that gorgeous gold adds just the right amount of Christmas sparkle. And although there is plenty to look at on the front, the Z Fold is what makes this card extra fun when you open it.

This card was inspired by one I saw by Mary Deatherage.

You can follow along with my complete video tutorial to make your own. I share all the measurements, supplies and step-by-step instructions, plus tips for putting the Z Fold together. Once you know how to create this fold, you can use it again and again with completely different stamps, papers and occasions.

Welcome Noel Winter Village Christmas Card Tutorial

 Hi Friends!

I love a Christmas card with lots of layers, and this snowy little village certainly has them!

For this card, I used the Welcome Noel and Noel Tidings Bundles to create a winter scene filled with little houses and layers of snowy evergreen branches. The combination of deep navy, soft blue, white and warm brown gives it a cozy winter feel, while the little gold accents add just the right finishing touch.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Welcome Noel Christmas card featuring a layered winter village with navy blue, brown and pale blue houses, snowy evergreen branches, gold embellishments and a Season’s Greetings sentiment.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Welcome Noel Christmas card featuring a layered winter village with navy blue, brown and pale blue houses, snowy evergreen branches, gold embellishments and a Season’s Greetings sentiment.

There is plenty of texture too, which really helps the village stand out from the snowy background. The simple Season’s Greetings sentiment finishes the card without covering up all those pretty details.

This card was inspired by one I saw by Mary Duitsman, a few things were changed to make it my own.

In the video tutorial, I’ll take you through the entire card from start to finish and share all the measurements, supplies and tips you need to recreate it.

Twinkling Tidings Hot Foiled Christmas Card

Hi Friends!

There is nothing quite like a little gold to dress up a Christmas card!

For this elegant Christmas card, I used the Twinkling Tidings Hot Foiling Bundle along with the Hot Foiling System. The evergreen tree is beautiful on its own, but those tiny gold foiled details scattered throughout really make it shine.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Christmas card featuring a green evergreen tree with gold hot foiled details, elegant gold foiled sentiment, gold frame and gold embellishments on a white card base.

I kept the rest of the design clean and elegant with lots of white, a gorgeous gold frame and a few gold embellishments. The foiled sentiment surrounding the tree finishes everything beautifully without taking attention away from the focal image.

In the video tutorial, I’ll walk you through the entire card from start to finish and share the measurements, supplies and tips for getting those beautiful hot foiled details.

If you have been wanting to try hot foiling on your Christmas cards, this is a lovely design to add to your holiday card-making list.

Pretty Poinsettia Z Fold Christmas Card with Elegant Gold Hot Foiling

Hi Friends!

If you love Christmas fun fold cards, this Pretty Poinsettia Z Fold card combines a classic Christmas look with gorgeous texture and elegant gold details.

Handmade Z Fold Christmas card featuring a dimensional red poinsettia and green leaves made with the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Poinsettia Bundle, gold hot foiling, white embossed leaf texture and Christmas Wishes sentiment.

I used the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle to create the dimensional red poinsettia and deep green leaves, then added white-on-white texture with the leaf image from the Seasonal Cheer Embossing Folder.

Handmade Z Fold Christmas card featuring a dimensional red poinsettia and green leaves made with the Stampin’ Up! Pretty Poinsettia Bundle, gold hot foiling, white embossed leaf texture and Christmas Wishes sentiment.

For a little extra WOW, I brought in the Echoes of Detail Hot Foil Dies. The distressed gold foiling behind the poinsettia works beautifully with the gold frame and accents, and I love how it all looks against the crisp white background.

The Z Fold gives the card an extra surprise when it’s opened, while still being an easy fun fold to recreate.

In my video tutorial, I’ll show you how to make this Pretty Poinsettia Z Fold Christmas card from start to finish, including all the measurements and supplies you’ll need.

I think the combination of red, green, white and gold makes this one feel wonderfully traditional — with just enough sparkle to make it special! ✨

Welcome Noel Easel Fun Fold Christmas Card Tutorial

Hi Friends!

If you love a card that becomes a little display all on its own, you’re going to love this Welcome Noel Easel Fun Fold Christmas Card!

I created this card using the Stampin’ Up! Welcome Noel Bundle along with the beautiful Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper. The finished card creates a wonderful little Christmas scene filled with colourful houses, deer, evergreen trees and touches of gold.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Welcome Noel Easel Fun Fold Christmas card featuring red, brown and green die-cut houses with gold windows, small deer and dark blue evergreen trees layered over blue and green Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper, with a Merry Christmas sentiment and coordinating decorated inside panel.

The easel fun fold is what really makes this project special. When the card is opened, the front stands up for display, while the inside becomes part of the overall design. It looks impressive, but I’ll take you through the construction step by step in the video tutorial so you can recreate it yourself.

I love how the colourful houses pop against the blues and greens in the Whispering Woods paper. I added dark blue evergreen trees through the background to create even more depth, and those little deer scattered throughout the scene are such a sweet finishing touch.

The gold details in the windows and the small gold embellishments add just enough Christmas sparkle without taking over the design.

There is also another reason I wanted to feature the Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper. It is Stampin’ Up!’s Give Back product this year, and $4 from every package sold goes to charities dedicated to empowering women. That makes using this beautiful paper feel just a little more special.

In the video tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how I created the easel mechanism and then take you through the entire card from start to finish. I’ll share all the measurements, supplies and tips along the way so you can make your own version.

Fun folds are always one of my favourite ways to turn a handmade card into something extra special, and this one is perfect for displaying throughout the Christmas season.

What do you think — is an Easel Fun Fold one you’ve tried before? 💜

Twinkling Tidings Christmas Card with Copper Hot Foil Details

Hi Friends!

There is just something about a little shine on a Christmas card, and today’s project has plenty of it without being over the top!

I created this Christmas card using the Stampin’ Up! Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Bundle, and I love the combination of the beautiful green Christmas tree, delicate hot foiled words and those gorgeous copper accents.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Christmas card created with the Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Bundle, featuring a detailed green Christmas tree surrounded by delicate hot foiled Christmas script and copper snowflakes cut from Metal Effects Copper paper on a clean white background.

The Twinkling Tidings design creates such an elegant focal point. Instead of adding a traditional sentiment panel, the delicate Christmas words become part of the overall design, surrounding the tree and drawing your eye around the card.

I also added Metal Effects Copper paper for the snowflakes. The copper is such a pretty contrast against the white background and rich green tree, and it ties in beautifully with the hot foiled details.

One of the things I especially wanted to share with this project was the hot foiling process itself. In the video tutorial, you can watch me do the hot foiling as I make the card, so if you’re new to the system or still getting comfortable with it, you can see how everything comes together.

Of course, I’ll also take you through the rest of the card from start to finish, with all the measurements and supplies you need to recreate it.

This is one of those Christmas cards that looks quite elegant when it is finished, but the clean design really lets each individual detail shine.

I’d love to know what you think — are you becoming as addicted to adding hot foil to your cards as I am? 💜

Christmas Crew Christmas Card with Red on White Hot Foiling

 Hi Friends!

There is something about a cute snowman that makes Christmas card making even more fun, and today’s project features one of the adorable images from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Crew Bundle.

For this card, I wanted a bright, clean Christmas look with lots of white and just enough red to really make everything pop. I also brought in some of the Hearth & Home Designer Series Paper and added a little red-on-white hot foiling for an unexpected detail.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Christmas card created with the Christmas Crew Bundle and Hearth & Home Designer Series Paper, featuring a snowman, candy canes, stars, textured white layers, red accents and red-on-white hot foiling.

Handmade Stampin’ Up! Christmas card created with the Christmas Crew Bundle and Hearth & Home Designer Series Paper, featuring a snowman, candy canes, stars, textured white layers, red accents and red-on-white hot foiling.

The snowman is definitely the star of this card! I love him holding his little “Sending Holly Jolly Wishes” sign. Add in the candy canes, peppermint embellishments and stars, and there are lots of fun little details without the card feeling too busy.

One of my favourite parts is all the texture in the background. White-on-white is one of my favourite ways to add interest to a card while still letting the colourful elements take centre stage.

And then, of course, there is the hot foiling!

We often think of gold and silver when we talk about hot foiling, but colour can be so much fun too. The red-on-white hot foiling works beautifully with the other red accents and gives the card that little something extra.

In the video tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how I put the card together from start to finish. You’ll get all of the measurements, supplies and step-by-step instructions so you can recreate the card or use some of the ideas to inspire a Christmas Crew creation of your own.

If you give the red hot foiling a try, I’d love to hear what you think of it! 💜

Floating Front Fold Card Tutorial with Winter Adventures

Hi Friends!

If you’re looking for another fun fold to try, this Floating Front Fold card is definitely one to add to your list!

Handmade Floating Front Fold Christmas card created with the Stampin’ Up! Winter Adventures Bundle, featuring a dimensional winter scene with layered green and white evergreen trees, die-cut snowflakes and sparkling snowflake embellishments.

I created this Christmas card using the Stampin’ Up! Winter Adventures Bundle, and I love how the dimensional design of the Floating Front Fold gives the winter scene a completely different look.

Handmade Floating Front Fold Christmas card created with the Stampin’ Up! Winter Adventures Bundle, featuring a dimensional winter scene with layered green and white evergreen trees, die-cut snowflakes and sparkling snowflake embellishments.

The Winter Adventures Bundle gives us lots of wonderful elements for creating winter scenes, and all those evergreen trees and snowy details work beautifully with this fold.

Handmade Floating Front Fold Christmas card created with the Stampin’ Up! Winter Adventures Bundle, featuring a dimensional winter scene with layered green and white evergreen trees, die-cut snowflakes and sparkling snowflake embellishments.

The real star of this card, though, is the Floating Front Fold itself. It looks impressive when you first see the finished card, but once you understand how the pieces come together, you can recreate the same fold and decorate it in all sorts of different ways.

In my complete video tutorial, I’ll walk you through the Floating Front Fold from start to finish, including all the measurements and assembly.

And don't think of this as only a Christmas card fold! Once you know how to create the basic Floating Front design, you can change the colours, papers, stamps and dies and use the same idea for birthdays, thank-you cards and lots of other occasions.

I hope you’ll give this fun fold a try. If you make one, be sure to let me know! 💜

Today I’m sharing another Christmas card featuring the Stampin’ Up! Winter Adventures Bundle, this time paired with the beautiful Winter of Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper.

A layered white snowy scene with evergreen trees and embossed snowflakes is set against a deep navy snow-patterned background and finished with yellow ribbon and a Merry Christmas sentiment.

After creating several fun folds lately, I decided to keep the fold simple for this card and concentrate on creating a snowy winter scene instead.

The deep navy background makes all of those crisp white winter details really stand out. I layered the white scene over the snowy Winter of Dreams paper, added the beautiful trees and snowflake details, and then brought in that unexpected little pop of yellow ribbon before finishing the card with a Merry Christmas greeting.

Sometimes a card does not need a fancy fold to make an impact!

In the video tutorial, I’ll walk you through the complete card from start to finish and share all of the measurements, supplies and step-by-step instructions so you can recreate it yourself.

Whether you join me for class or simply give today’s snowy Christmas card a try, I hope it gives you another idea for getting more creative mileage from your Winter Adventures Bundle.

Happy stamping! 💜
