Transform Your Card-Making Skills with Double Floating Magic!

 Hi Friends!

You are going to love this one! I’ve got a brand-new technique to share today—yes, a technique that might be totally new to you—and it’s featured on this gorgeous card using the Spotlight On Nature bundle and the Everyday Arches.

This design has all the dreamy, soft purples that give it a fresh and delicate springtime feel. The result is a card that’s elegant, eye-catching, and surprisingly easy to make once you see how the technique comes together. Whether you’re a seasoned stamper or just getting started, this project is packed with creative inspiration.

The Spotlight On Nature bundle is so versatile and lends itself beautifully to techniques that add depth and interest without needing a ton of extra layers. Pairing it with the Everyday Arches creates a soft frame that brings the whole design together in a way that’s modern and timeless.

I had so much fun experimenting with this new method and can’t wait for you to try it too. Be sure to scroll down and watch the full video tutorial where I walk you through the entire process step-by-step.

A Video Tutorial on how to create a beautiful card with the Painted Lavender bundle and the Alcohol and Blends Vellum Technique!

Hi Friends!

My Team and I get together on zoom once or twice a month and just play or chit chat.

Last week I was prepping a class, then decided I wanted to play with the Rubbing Alcohol and Stampin' Blends technique.

I grabbed some vellum and the Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat Stampin' Blends and just played. The results were amazing, so of course I had to create a card or two with the vellum.

I had the Perennial Lavender suite on my craft table so I decided to create something with it. I shared how to create these beautiful cards during my facebook live on Monday night (you can watch my Monday night live stamping demonstrations on my page HERE)

This technique is not new, but it's a wow every single time I do it. And no two are ever alike.

Just a heads up, you need 99% rubbing alcohol to make it work, the 70% is not strong enough to move the ink around.

To see how I did the technique and created the two cards, click on the picture below to watch the video tutorial on my YouTube channel. If you enjoy the video, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and Live Stamping. Once you have subscribed, click on the bell icon to get notification when I add to my channel.

Dragonfly Garden Glimmer Card

 Hi Friends!

I tried something different this week for my Monday Mystery Stamping.

I asked my facebook peeps to choose "This or That". I showed 2 pictures and they chose which one I would use for the Monday stamping.  I went with the option that got the most votes.

Here are the choices:

Brights Designer Paper was chosen.

Dragonfly Garden was the stamp set

Rainbow Glimmer Paper was the favourite.

We used ribbon on the project.

Yes to embossing, but no to the seabed folder

We created a beautiful card using Coastal Cabana designer paper, the Dragonfly Garden bundle, Rainbow Glimmer paper, ribbon and an embossing folder.

I had no idea last night what we were going to do, but then it popped into my head.  A fun fold and a technique using acetate and glimmer paper.

We stamped the Dragonfly image onto a piece of window sheet (acetate) using StazOn ink and set it aside to dry before punching it out with the Dragonfly Punch. Then we punched a dragonfly out of rainbow glimmer paper and  layered them together.

For the card, you use a standard card base, then cut off 2 inches from the bottom. Cut that strip into 2 1" pieces and use one of them for the bottom. It is connected to the top using an embossed piece of Thick Whisper White.

Wow, did it ever turn out great!  I enjoyed it so much I made a second one using the Melon Mambo designer paper.

I did a video of the process and I will share that tomorrow once it's finished uploading to my YouTube Channel. But you can head over there now and see all my other videos too! CLICK HERE and please subscribe to my channel while you are there. Thank you!

Enjoy your day, and I will talk to you tomorrow
