Sail Away With Me Anniversary Card

Today's card is a masculine Happy Anniversary card.  I purchased the stamp Sail Away when it was in the Summer Mini catalogue.  I was happy when Stampin' Up! continued the stamp set Open Sea, but truly disappointed when Sail Away was retired.  This was a super masculine stamp and it was a single stamp.  Here is my card for you ....

You can't tell in this picture, but I used the new Pewter Embossing Powder (Holiday Mini Catalogue Page 2, Item #124114, $5.95) on the sailboat image and I love how it turned out.  A bit of bling and still manages to be masculine!!

Pool Party Birthday Wishes

Here's the card for you ....

I sure wish the Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz showed in the pictures!  But oh my, it is so blingy.  I spritzed the entire cardfront as well as the flower image.  I am so excited that this flower image coordinates with the Scallop Circle punch, so you don't have to fussy cut it out!
Then I used the same layout and colours and just changed up the embossing folder to the new
   Stripes Embossing Folder - page 218; Item 123128; $9.95
I also stamped the flower image 3 times, and hand cut out two layers then used one of the
   Brights Designer Button - page 197; Item 119747; $10.95
