Monday Mystery Stamping With The Playful Pets Suite

This morning's Monday Mystery Stamping involved the Playful Pets suite of products.

You can find this suite on pages 40 to 42 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

Here's the card I made, all in secret until the end of course....

Here's the recipe again for the card....

Card Base 5-1/2 x 6-1/4 scored at 4-1/4 on the 6-1/4" side

Same colour cardstock 5-1/2 x 1

Coordinating cardstock 3-5/8 x 2-3/8

Designer Paper

Pattern A - 5-1/4 x 1-3/4

Pattern A - 5-1/4 x 3/4

Pattern B - 3-1/2 x 2-1/4

A stamp set or designer paper cut outs to decorate the front

A sentiment

 Embellishments as wanted

Pop Up Panel Card - Stampin' Up! Style

Hello Friends!

Before Christmas I did a class on the Pop Up Panel cards (aka Twist and Flip and some other names as well).

Here is the card we made ...

It looks very plain on the outside, but open it up and it packs a whollop of WOW!

Cardstock:          11 x 4-1/4 – scored at 5-1/2 and folded in half  

   11 x 2-3/4 – scored at 2-3/4, 5-1/2, 8-1/4 on 11” side

                           11 x 8-1/2 – mark on 11 side at 4-1/4, 5-1/2, 6-3/4

                                           Flip around and do the same on the other 11” side

                                           Draw a line down the center at the 5-1/2” mark

                                           Score on the line

                                           Turn to the 8-1/2” side and mark at 2-1/8, 4-1/4, 6-3/8

                                           Flip around and do the same on the other 8-1/2” side

                                           Draw lines between 2-1/8s, 4-1/4s, 6-3/8s

                                           On 11” side, measure in 4-1/4” from each end of both sides on the 

                                              outside lines (4 marks)

                                           Draw connecting lines between 4” mark and 4-1/4” and 4” mark and

                                             6-3/4” marks

                                           Cut out the pieces on the ends of above marks

                                           See template for instructions on marking, cutting and folding 

       While holding a finger from your left hand on the X in the middle, fold 

        the 5-1/2” scored line towards you and line it up with the 4-1/4” drawn

        line

                                           Flip and do the other side       

 

To Decorate:

Outside:    Paper:            Gold Foil             5-1/4 x 4

                                        Whisper White 4-7/8 x 3-5/8

                                                                        3 x 2-3/4

                 Supplies:         Layering Oval Dies #4 smooth, $3 scalloped

                                         Falling Flowers set

                                         Stylized Birthday stamp

                                         Memento Ink

                                         Melon Mambo marker

                                         Melon Mambo 1/8” Stitched Ribbon – 20”

                                         Large Letters Dies

                  Note:    Cut scallop oval from center of Gold Foil piece before adhering to card front

Inside:       Paper:   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 – use the inside mechanism to mark the angled top 

                                      before adhering the mechanism to the inside of the card.

                                Pop Of Pink Designer Series Paper     2-1/2 x 2-1/2 (x 4 pieces)

                                Large Letters dies – use the cardstock pieces you cut out of the inside mechanism

                                      to cut out the letters.
