Easter Themed Blog Hop

 Hello Friends!

Welcome to our Blog Hop for all things Easter!

My card for you today was a crafty collaboration of the Wreath Dies and Hydrangea Hill designer paper.

The idea of a curvy die cut on the front popped into my head. Then I asked one of our Grandsons what colours he thought of when I said Easter. He named all the usual ones, pink, yellow, green and purple.

The next step was to find some designer paper I could pop behind the curvy die cut.  While I was searching my stash, I came across the Velveteen Paper that I have not even cut into yet!

So it came out, and voila 2 of the colours I had hoped to use - Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam.

I cut the nobby wreath from the Highland Heather Velveteen paper, and the leaf wreath from the Soft Sea Foam. I also cut one from Vellum to add some whimsy to it.

The Easter Eggs from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set were perfect and so easy to die cut using the Wreath Builder Dies as well.

The next step was to add a bow die cut from Rainbow Glimmer paper using the Pierced Blooms dies, and the cute chick exploding from it's shell from Hey Birthday Chick. The Birthday Chick dies made that die cut quick and simple too.

A few Pastel Pearls and some Wink of Stella finished the card off perfectly.

The sentiment is also from the Arrange A Wreath stamp set and is die cut with one of the Messages Die cuts.

I always finish off the inside with an extra piece of white or vanilla cardstock and stamp it with the same theme as the front, or add some designer paper, and do a matching envelope. This time I elected to stamp the eggs from the Happy Birthday Chick and Hey Chick stamp sets. Super cute!

I will be doing a facebook live tonight (March 18, 2021) at 7 pm (Pacific Time) in my facebook VIP Group to create this card. I hope you can join me! CLICK HERE to go to my VIP Group and "Join" it. I will also upload it to my YOUTUBE CHANNEL once I am done online.

Arrange A Wreath Card - 3 Ways!

 Hi Friends!

I belong to a wonderful and supportive facebook group of Canadian Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.  We all share and encourage as much as we can.

This week we were asked to help one of our members achieve the Maui Incentive Trip. Some of you helped out by placing small orders.  I am so excited to tell you that Marcy earned the trip last night!  Thank you so much for helping.

In the Stampin' Up! world, this is a HUGE accomplishment.  Stampin' Up! spoils us so much on these trips, and if it wasn't for them, Ted and I would never have seen Korea, Viet Nam, Thailand, Greece and Italy.  I am so blessed to be part of the Stampin' Up! Family!

Today I have a card share for you that I did during my Thursday Drop In Stamping yesterday.  I received the inspiration card in a swap from the same group by Diane Inkster.  Here is her card ....

I used this card for inspiration during the video (shown below) and created a Beginner, a Casual and an Avid Stamper card.  This means that each card can be created by anyone no matter what their card skill level is.

For the Beginner card, I used stamps, ink, and paper with a bit of fussy cutting (hand cutting) and some Red Rhinestones for the bling.

For the Casual card, I added some embossing on the background like Diane did, and some die cutting. Of course there was embellishments too - Red Rhinestones and a bow.

The Avid card included a technique where we cut a hole in the card front and suspended the partridge on some gold thread. When you open it, the bird is free floating!

This was so much fun to do, and when I started I had no idea where I was going with the inspiration card. Lol. Sometimes great things happen In My Craft Room while I am creating with you.

Here's the video of the zoom/facebook live ...

I hope you are able to join me In My Craft Room during one or more of my Stamping Events.
