Ignite Your Creativity: Discover the Playful World of Seagull Stamps

 Hi Friends!

Tuesday night's live demonstration brought together two incredible stamp sets—Friendly Seagulls and Under The Moon—to create a card that perfectly balances calm serenity and playful sass. Picture this: a peaceful sunset scene on the water, painted with soft hues, with a cheeky seagull stealing the spotlight and your heart.

The Under The Moon stamp set set the stage with a dreamy sunset glow, while the Friendly Seagulls added a pop of personality with their quirky charm. Honestly, who knew seagulls could have such big attitudes? The result was a card that feels both tranquil and delightfully fun—a little vacation escape captured on cardstock.

Here’s the best part: the Friendly Seagulls stamp set is available for FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration! But don’t wait too long—this deal flies away on February 28th.

And if you’re flipping through your crafting stash thinking, “Wait, I don’t have the Sale-a-Bration brochure or the Mini Catalogue!”—don’t stress. If you’re in Canada and don’t already have a demonstrator, SEND ME AN EMAIL, and I’ll make sure those happy little booklets make their way to your mailbox.

This is the perfect time to stock up on supplies, grab some freebies, and create cards that are equal parts peaceful and sassy. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s make waves—and maybe ruffle a few feathers—with the Friendly Seagulls stamp set!

Using the Thoughtful Journey patterned paper and Under The Moon stamp set to create a quick and easy birthday card suitable for anyone.

Hi Friends!

Today's card uses the beautiful Thoughtful Journey designer paper (aka patterned paper) for the background to a pretty sailing scene.

We used to own sailboats. The first one was the "Flying Camel" and it was 27 feet long, did not have a fridge, but did have a "head" (aka bathroom) and bunks for the kids.

Then we graduated to the Maraya, a 32 foot sailboat with all the comforts of home.  Here's a picture of it, and our dog Popi (who is no longer with us) who enjoyed every minute on both boats with us.

We no longer have a sailboat, but we do have a power boat that we get to go out on the water with. I love the water and miss it.

But now I can stamp scenes with this stamp set and it brings back all the memories we had for all those years.

This card uses Misty Moonlight, Boho Blue, Peach Pie and Smoky Slate to create the beautiful scene.

Here's the recipe of what I used:

  Boho Blue card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2

  Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (inside), 1/2 x 4 (for sentiment), 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 (die cut circle)

  Thoughtful Journey patterned paper  5-1/4 x 4 (front), 3/4 x 4 (inside), 2 x 6 on the envelope.

This uses a complete 6x6 piece of this paper.

I also used:

Wink of Stella, 3 Pack Tinsel Gems, Deckled Circle Dies and the Simply Said stamp set.

How to make a Sunset & Silhouette card using the Under The Moon stamp set and a few ink colours.

 Hi Friends!

Well, it's summer here for sure. We have been enduring hot days of 30 to 40 deg C temps.

So what better way to stay cool than stamping in my craft room?

I am finally catching up from my latest adventure to Puyallup for the Dog Show. And now it's time to create some Christmas cards.

I am hosting a Mega Christmas Card Class in August featuring the Season Of Gold & Green Suite! Lots of cards and you can order more than one kit too!  These cards will be quick and easy but beautiful and you will be able to reproduce them at home afterwards using the exclusive PDF with all the measurements and links to the video tutorials.

Stay tuned for more information, but save the date of Friday, August 23 for the In Person class and Tuesday, August 27 for the Virtual class.

And now on to the card I created during my facebook live demonstration last Thursday.

I used the Under The Moon stamp set, and some beautiful sunset colours, to create this card.

It looks difficult, but it's really NOT!

To view the video tutorial on how it was created, click the image below to go to my YouTube channel.

How to create a quick and easy card using the Under The Moon stamp set and Perennial Postage dies!

 Hi Friends!

The Under The Moon stamp set is amazing. It's so versatile and you can create birthday, thinking of you, sympathy, wedding ... well so many different cards, with it.

And it's quick and easy to create those beautiful cards.

We made this card in our Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts class last week. That's a wonderful group of Seniors (over 55 yrs) who love getting together weekly for some stamping fun and socializing.

Here's the card we made, and the card I created during my facebook live this past Monday.

You could create this card using only Stamps, Ink and Paper (also known as a SIP card).

I did use the Perennial Postage dies, but you could just cut and layer the cardstock.

To watch the video tutorial on how I made this, click the picture below to visit my YouTube channel.

Hi Friends!

The card I have for you today was created spontaneously during my facebook/youtube live stamping demonstration last week.

I took this card ....

And turned it into this card....

With help and input from the audience.

I used the same cardstock colours for both cards, and added the Spotlight On Nature stamp set and amazing dies.
