How to create an Interlocking Fun Fold card using the Country Flowers stamp set and dies.

Hi Friends!

Last Thursday I shared how to create an Interlocking Fun Fold card.

I received the original card in a swap, and knew I had to remake it.

I used the Country Flowers stamp set and dies, and Thoughtful Journey designer paper.

Oh, it's so pretty!

This card uses Blackberry Bliss and Peach Pie cardstocks, Nested Essentials and Country Flowers dies and is finished off with some Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots.

How to "case" a card and change up the stamp set and add a punch for a not so quick and easy card! I am using Cutest Cows on this one.

 Hi Friends!

This weekend is my Summer Creative Escape and one of the bundles we are featuring is Cutest Cows.

As of May 1st it was no longer bundled, but you can still order the stamp set and punch separately.

I was live back in April and shared how to create this super cute card using the new Shy Shamrock In Colour!  It was a hit ...

For one of the escape cards, Leanne Livingstone stamped these milk cans on the inside of her card, and I loved it, so used it here.

The main card was "cased" from Shanna Miller (one of my long time Friends and talented Team Member), and she used the Bee Mine suite. So I changed it to Cutest Cows but used the same layout and dies that she used.

I just love how it turned out.

The Summer Creative Escape PDF/Tutorial Only Option is still available to purchase. It includes tutorials for 6 cards - 2 using Cutest Cows, 2 using Layers Of Beauty and 2 using Under The Moon.

How to create alternative cards from paper pumpkin kit refills to create quick and easy cards

 Hi Friends!

Every week I am invited to spend time with our local Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts, for stamping enthusiasts that are over 50 yrs young.

We make one card together and enjoy the visiting and stamping.

I recently purchased some of the January 2024 paper pumpkin kit refills and came up with these 2 alternative cards. We created one each week and the Ladies loved them.

I often hear "paper pumpkin is not good quality" or "I don't really like paper pumpkin kits" or "paper pumpkin cards are not my style".  Well, the Ladies were suitably impressed with the quality and the fact that you can do alternative projects using the kit contents.

Here are the 2 cards we created ....

You can see other alternative cards in my youtube video from January, below ...

How you can create a quick and easy card using the Layered Leaves stamp set and Bough punch.

Hi Friends!

I was bopping around pinterest looking for cards that would be suitable for my Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts seniors group, and saw one by Mary Fish using the Layering Leaves stamp set and coordinating Bough punch.

Perfect! I thought, and created my own version of the card. The Ladies at the class loved it.

I used:

Crumb Cake 8-1/2 x 5-1/2

Petal Pink 5 x 3-3/4

Flirty Flamingo 2-1/4 x 4

Basic White 5-1/4 x 4

                     4-7/8 x 3-5/8

                     2 x 5-1/4

                     1-1/4 x 3

Black Twine 10"

Iridescent Rhinestones

Softly Sophisticated embossing folder (retired from SAB)

Go To Greetings (retired but still loved)

Everyday Details Dies

The inks are Pebbled Path and Memento

And we coloured with the Light Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends

Give this card a try, it's beautiful and simplistic.

Masks are not just for Masking! Tips and Tricks on how to make quick and easy cards with the Layers Of Beauty stamp set, masks and dies.

Hi Friends!

Last year Stampin' Up! brought out the Enduring Beauty bundle with a stamp set, dies and masks for adding different layers of colour onto the stamped image.

I did not get that one, but when the new catalogue came out and it has the Layers Of Beauty stamp set, dies and masks, I jumped at the chance to get them and I don't regret it at all.

This bundle is so easy to work with, the masks line up perfectly, and they are even numbered if you want to do them in the order suggested. But, you don't have to!  That's the beauty of it.

I shared the technique on how to create with this bundle during my facebook live last Thursday. Here's the card I re-created ....

I used a plethora of new products on this card, and I love how they all go together so well. The flowers had the new Petunia Pop ink added on all 3 areas of the flowers, and Summer Splash on the leaves, you don't have to use different colours, just get heavier with the ink as you progress through the masks.

Creating alternative cards with the February 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit - Sweet Springtime - and how you can get free alternate card ideas each month!

 Hi Friends!

Every month I go live in facebook and create with the Paper Pumpkin kit of the month.

The projects are never created as they are designed, I always change them up between a bit and a lot!  Sometimes the journey is long and painful (lol) but most of the time as we get started, and viewers chime in with their suggestions, the cards just fly together.

The February Paper Pumpkin Kit - called Sweet Springtime - was no exception, and I ended up with cards for our Northern Grandchildren when we were done.

Here's the alternative projects we created ...

I belong to a Paper Pumpkin Alternative Projects group and each month my Paper Pumpkin Subscribers and Team Members get the PDF including at least 12 alternative projects.

I would love to send them to you too, if you live in Canada and subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through me, or grab a seat in my Craft Room Stampers Team!
