How To Create a Pretty Card with the Greenery Lane Bundle and Washi Tape

 Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing a beautiful botanical card featuring the Greenery Lane bundle and Greenery Lane Washi Tape.

The Washi Tape makes it incredibly easy to create full leafy layers that look detailed and dimensional without a lot of stamping. By layering the greenery behind the focal flower and sentiment banner, the card feels lush while still keeping a clean and elegant layout.

The embossed background adds subtle texture that helps the botanical images stand out without overwhelming the design.

This card is perfect for encouragement, friendship, or simply letting someone know you’re thinking of them.

To create this card:

• Adhere a length of the Washi Tape to a 3 x 8" piece of Basic White cardstock
• Die cut a bunch of image using the dies from the Greenery Lane bundle.
• Emboss a 5-1/8 x 3-7/8" piece of Basic White cardstock using the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder
• Adhere the embossed layer to a 5-1/4 x 4" piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock
• Adhere these layers to an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" Thick Basic White card base
• Stamp the sentiment in Memento black ink on a 7/8 x 4" piece of Basic White, flag the right hand side
• Use a flower image from the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack
• Arrange the die cut leaves behind the Gold Flower from the Ephemera Pack, and the stamped sentiment. Adhere them to the card front using Tombo Glue
• Adhere the flower using Tombo Glue
• Adhere the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals
• Stamp a 5-1/4 x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock for the inside, and stamp an envelope to coordinate with the card.
• Adhere the inside layer to the card
• Add Moody Palette Glossy Dots to finish the card

Today's project is a layered Double Joy Fold card created with the Scalloped Wishes bundle.

This interactive fold adds instant wow when it opens, revealing beautifully layered panels inside. The embossed floral background adds texture and depth, while scalloped oval layers frame the botanical sentiment perfectly. A subtle dragonfly accent and enamel embellishments complete the look.

The Double Joy Fold is a wonderful way to create dimension without making your card feel bulky. It looks intricate but comes together step by step in a very manageable way.

Fun Fold Card Remake Using the Gears & Textures Bundle Creative Design Challenge

 Hi Friends!

This week I challenged myself to take an existing fun fold card layout and completely reinvent it using the Gears & Textures bundle — and I did it live.

The original card featured soft florals and gentle colours, but instead of starting from scratch, I kept the structure and rebuilt the personality. That’s one of my favourite ways to stretch a layout. When you already love the mechanics of a card, why not explore how far you can push the design?

During the live, I layered textured elements, bold gears, and industrial accents to create a completely different look and feel. It’s such a powerful reminder that layout and theme are separate things. You can take a delicate fold and turn it into something masculine, bold, or even grungy just by switching your focal bundle and papers.

This is a great exercise to try with your own cards. Pick a layout you’ve used before and ask yourself: how would this look with a totally different bundle?

Gears & Textures Fun Fold Card Tutorial with Industrial Layered Gear Design

This week I shared a bold and dimensional fun fold card using the Gears & Textures bundle, and it is such a fantastic option for masculine cards or anyone who loves industrial-inspired designs.

Layering the gear dies creates incredible depth and movement on the front of the card. I combined textured stamped backgrounds with plaid designer paper and chain elements to add visual interest without overwhelming the design. The mix of strong shapes and softer circular textures keeps everything balanced while still making a statement.

Twisted Easel Fun Fold Birthday Card with Lovely Arrangements Bundle

Hi Friends!

This week’s card is a Twisted Easel fun fold, which means it stands beautifully for display and folds flat for mailing. If you’ve never tried this style before, it’s a fantastic way to add an interactive element without complicated scoring.

The botanical background brings movement and interest immediately. Instead of covering it completely, I framed it with a stitched rectangle panel to give the eye a resting place and create a strong focal area.

The white floral image layered over green leaves keeps the design clean while still feeling detailed. Because the patterned paper is fairly bold, keeping the focal flower mostly neutral allows the card to feel balanced rather than busy.

The navy patterned strip on the left adds vertical structure and grounds the design. A soft ribbon bow introduces texture and softness, while a few embellishments finish the card without overwhelming it.

This is a layout you can easily adapt:
– Change the sentiment for sympathy or thank you
– Swap the patterned paper for a more subtle background
– Use different color combinations for seasonal variations

Brushed With Beauty Bundle Birthday Card Tutorial with Layered Greenery

 Hi Friends!

This week in the craft room I created a fresh and elegant birthday card using the Brushed With Beauty bundle, and I absolutely love how the layers came together on this design.

The layout is a horizontal layered style that allows the die-cut greenery to really shine. By placing the detailed foliage over a soft patterned yellow background, the card feels bright and cheerful without being overwhelming. The neutral cream panel in the center helps ground the design and keeps the eye focused on the sentiment.

One of my favorite things about this card is how versatile it is. The structure stays the same, but you could easily switch out the designer paper, change the foliage colours, or swap the sentiment for something like “Thank You” or “Just Because.” It’s the kind of layout that becomes a go-to design once you’ve made it once.

• Balancing layered die cuts so they don’t feel bulky

• Using subtle dimension for depth without too much height

• Keeping horizontal layouts visually grounded
