Retro Week Stamping Project — Creating a Soft Pastel Card with the Retiring More Than Autumn Bundle

 Hi Friends!

Retro Week is here, and I’m starting it off with a sweet and playful project using the retiring More Than Autumn bundle. This set has been in my favourites pile for a long time, so it felt right to bring it back one more time before it says goodbye. For this design, I took the bundle in a softer direction with pale pinks, gentle greens, and a light, airy blended background. This card was cased from Tammy Wilson, I just loved her card and did it almost exactly the same.

One of the most delightful parts of this card came straight from my grandson Cameron. When I asked him what word I should feature in the sentiment, he answered “pie” without hesitation. It ended up being the perfect finishing touch, and it gave the card a warm and personal twist that I absolutely love.

During the live video, I’ll walk you through the full design from start to finish, share a few tips for colouring and layout, and show you how to switch up the sentiment and palette for other occasions. Whether you still have the bundle or want to recreate the look with something in your stash, this card is an easy one to adapt.

Discover the Sweet Magic of Gingerbread and Donuts: The Ultimate Fall Bundle

Who said autumn crafting has to stick to muted tones and fall foliage? During my latest Facebook Live, I brought bright, cheery colors to the spotlight with a card that’s equal parts sweet and sassy. Creating A Bold Pink and Purple Combination that Pops with the More Than Autumn Bundle

Hi Friends!

We have a precious little girl in our lives. After generations of "male" only we finally got a girl. And she is definitely a girly girl. I never share pictures of our Grand Children online, that is a privilege I leave for the parents, so I won't be sharing hers either, but here's a few of her favourite things ...

Favourite colours:  pink and purple

Favourite movie: Frozen

Favourite clothes: dresses - the more elaborate the better (think tule and lots of it).

Next time we visit, her and I and Mommy have a "coffee date".  So when I saw a card by Tammy Wilson using the More Than Autumn bundle and one of our Grand Daughter's favourite colours - purple - I knew I had to run with it.

I changed the orange that Tammy used to pink, but the background technique follows Tammy's tutorial. 

I am sure Miss M will love it and I can't wait to mail it off to her.

On Monday I shared how I created this card during my facebook and youtube live demonstration. It's fun to make. Now I will create one for our Grand Son B and mail them both off at the same time. Mr B is more into camo so I think his will be green and brown.  Stay tuned, I may share the card once it's ready.
