How To Create A Fun Background With The Kindest Gnomes Bundle!

 Hi Friends!

The Kindest Gnomes stamp set and Gnomes dies are my favourite bundle from the J-J Holiday Mini
Catalogue by Stampin' Up!

I shared how to do this card during my facebook live Monday Night Stamping.

CLICK HERE to join me every Monday night at 8 pm (PT) or you can catch the replay too!

And apparently Gnomes are "in" this year for Christmas decorating.

We recently went to Potters Farm in the Vancouver BC area and goodness me, there was a LOT of cute, funny, beautiful, gorgeous and amazing Christmas decorations and gifts there.

The farm uses it's greenhouses as the Christmas store, and the whole thing is 28,000 square feet!  Can you imagine? I couldn't, but then I saw it in person!

And there was an entire section dedicated to Gnomes of all kinds, shapes and sizes. And then they were also sprinkled throughout the store as well.

Here's a couple of pictures. I didn't get many as I was so busy looking lol.

Have a wonderful weekend!

 Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a card I created for the Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts group that I volunteer at each week.

This is a fun group of "Senior" Ladies, some of which have been stamping a very long time.

I started volunteering there about 13 ish years ago, and they keep asking me back!

Each week we stamp one card together, and get to do a lot of socializing. It was difficult during COVID shutdowns, but now we are back and welcome new members.

This card uses Mint Macaron as the card base and layer, some of the Snowflake Specialty Paper and the super fun Kindest Gnomes bundle.

I will be sharing how to create this card live during my Monday Night Live Stamping Demonstration on my FACEBOOK PAGE. Come on over and join us!

You can find a list of supplies with clickable links, at the bottom of my post.

What Is A Swing Card And What Part Of The Gnome Swings?????

 Hi Friends!

Oh goodness, the Storybook Gnomes Suite is so stinking cute!  I was drawn to it immediately when I saw it in the July to Dec Mini Catalogue by Stampin' Up!  You can find it on pages 42 and 43 of the mini catalogue.

Then I saw a card that Susan Campfield created. She called it a Swing Card. Can you guess what part of the card swings?  No? Neither could I until I watched her video.

I created this card on Thursday in my facebook VIP Group, and shared how to use left over pieces of designer paper to create a card front, and then finished it off with the Kindest Gnomes bundle.

I used some left over pieces of designer paper for the front, just grab some pieces that will make the 5-1/4 x 4 front layer and put them together. Bam! Using up left overs along with creating this fun, interactive card.

You can see how I created it by joining my VIP Group - it's only for VIPeeps! But it's fun there and everyone is welcome.

Do you like FREE card tutorials for interactive, or fun fold cards, or technique cards? Here's how to get them each week!

 Hi Friends!

I have a facebook VIP Group where I go live every Thursday for Thursday Thoughts!

This is an exclusive event for my VIPeeps only. I don't share the projects anywhere else, and the video tutorials are not uploaded to my YouTube Channel, so the only place to see the projects is in my VIP Group.

And I always share the recipe for the project so you can craft along with me, or do the project later on.

Here's a sneak peek of the card I will be sharing how to do tonight at 8 pm (Pacific Time).

It is an interactive card and sooooo cute! I will be using the Kindest Gnomes bundle and a lot of Santa Express designer paper!

CLICK HERE to join my VIP Group. You will also have access to all of the video demonstrations in the group. And there are a lot, I have been stamping in that group for a long time now.

Hope to see you soon, In My Craft Room!

This was the Kindest Gnomes Make 'n Take Card from last week's New Catalogue Launch Party.

 Hi Friends!

Last week I hosted an In Person and Virtual Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration Launch Party.

We gathered together In Person in the afternoon, and I went live in the evening for the Virtual event.

So. Much. Fun!

This was the make 'n take that Stampers could do during the Launch Party.

Aren't these Kindest Gnomes super cute??? I love gnomes and have one outside on our front porch! Not to mention the Christmas ones we also own.

Here's a link to the YouTube video from the Virtual Launch Party.  Just click on the picture below. ....

How To Flip The Orientation Of A Card - Kindest Gnomes

 Hi Friends!

Last Thursday was so much fun during my facebook live demonstration.

Members of my VIP GROUP get to join me on Zoom on Thursday nights, or the event is always streamed to my FACEBOOK PAGE and VIP Group.

I shared these two cards with viewers, then we proceeded to re-do the first one using the landscape orientation instead of the portrait one. It turned out AH-MAZING!

Click on either of the pictures to view this suite online.

I also shared this "not so avid stamper" card. It uses the same "ingredients" but in a less intensive way.

The Storybook Gnomes designer paper is so much fun to use!  Every single sheet has cute images and some of them can be cut out with the Gnome dies!  But, they are also very easy to do by hand!  You can make fun Christmas cards (or any other occasion) with just the designer paper, some of the beautiful Wonderful Snowflakes and a sentiment stamp set.

Please click on the picture below to watch the video and see how our alternative card turned out.
