Unlock the Charm: Craft Stunning Gate Fold Cards with Floral Designer Papers

 Hi Friends!

This card is full of delightful little details and a clever twist on a classic fold. I created it using the Charming Day bundle along with the Floral Charm designer paper, and the soft tones and sweet imagery came together so beautifully.

The card is designed in a book binding gate fold style, which gives it a unique opening and an extra touch of dimension. It’s such a fun fold to create—and even more fun to open! The panel on the left stays firmly in place while the right side opens up like a gate, making it a perfect backdrop to highlight both the stamped elements and the gorgeous designer paper.

The stamped floral image from Charming Day on the inside, is lightly colored to complement the subtle patterns in the Floral Charm paper, letting everything feel soft and harmonious. This is a card that works for just about any occasion, whether you're sending love, encouragement, or a simple hello.

Charming Day Watercolour Card with Floral Charm Paper and Fancy Borders – Tips, Tricks, and a Video Tutorial

 Hi Friends!

If you missed last Thursday’s live demonstration, you’re in for a real treat! I shared a stunning card using the Charming Day bundle, and this one features a soft watercolouring technique that’s perfect for highlighting the lovely line art in this set. Whether you're new to watercolouring or already a fan, this technique is so relaxing—and the results are gorgeous.

I paired the images with the Floral Charm designer paper, which brought in just the right pop of color and pattern. To add texture, I used the Glass & Garden embossing folder in the background, giving the card an elegant finish. The Fancy Border Dies were the perfect accent to frame everything and step the design up a notch.

Throughout the video, I shared plenty of tips and tricks—like how to control your watercolouring for different effects, ways to layer patterned paper and embossed backgrounds, and how to let the design of your dies guide your layout. This card is pretty enough to send for birthdays, thank-yous, or just to brighten someone’s day.

Stampin’ Blends on Vellum with the Charming Day Bundle: A Stunning Card Tutorial

 Hi Friends!

Happy Friday! I’m excited to wrap up the week by sharing another beautiful card I created with the Charming Day bundle. This time, I explored a different colouring technique that I demonstrated live in my VIP group and on YouTube this past Wednesday.

The technique I showcased is colouring on vellum with Stampin’ Blends. It’s a gorgeous way to add vibrant, translucent color to your projects, giving your stamped images a stained-glass look that’s both elegant and eye-catching. The Charming Day bundle is perfect for this technique, with its crisp, detailed images that shine through the soft finish of vellum.

During my live demonstration, I shared how to blend colours seamlessly on vellum, control bleeding, and adhere your vellum layers without visible glue marks. The result is a card that’s light, airy, and truly unique.

How to Colour Charming Day Images with Stampin’ Blends for Gorgeous Handmade Cards

On Tuesday’s live demonstration over on Facebook and YouTube, I shared how to create a beautiful card using the brand new Charming Day bundle. This bundle has quickly become one of my favorites for its delightful images and versatile sentiments, perfect for so many occasions.

One of the highlights of this demonstration was showing how to bring the Charming Day images to life with Stampin’ Blends.
