Elegant Lovely Arrangements Card Featuring Peaceful Pines

 Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing this elegant handmade card featuring the Lovely Arrangements bundle along with the beautiful new Peaceful Pines In Colour and coordinating designer paper.

Elegant handmade card featuring Peaceful Pines designer paper, dark green ribbon, white floral stamped image, and sentiment label reading “Life would be so much duller without you

I absolutely love the rich earthy feel of Peaceful Pines. It pairs beautifully with simple florals, layered patterns, ribbon, and clean layouts like this one. Sometimes you don’t need lots of layers or techniques to create a striking card — letting the colour and textures do the work can be just as beautiful.

For this project I combined patterned paper, ribbon, simple stamped images, and a clean sentiment layout to create a card that feels elegant but still easy to recreate. The soft floral image and layered greenery accents work perfectly with the richness of the new green tones.

I hope this card gives you a little inspiration to pull out your favourite new In Colours and start creating. 💜

This Swap Card Stopped Me in My Tracks – Lovely Arrangements Bundle

 Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing a card that immediately caught my eye when I received it in a recent swap. The design is bright, layered, and full of texture — and I knew right away I wanted to recreate it in my craft room.

Handmade birthday card using the Lovely Arrangements bundle with layered yellow flowers, blue background panel, white textured background and happy birthday sentiment.

This card features the Lovely Arrangements bundle, which is also the star of my April Collaboration Class with Denise Cox. The soft yellow florals paired with the rich blue background create a striking contrast, and the layered elements make the card feel both elegant and modern.

During tonight’s live demonstration I’ll be recreating this beautiful design and sharing a few tips for building layered floral focal points like this one.

Registration for the card kit option for the April class has now closed, but you can still get the Tutorial Only option. If you would like access to the tutorials, simply send me a message or EMAIL ME and we’ll make it happen.

Twisted Easel Fun Fold Birthday Card with Lovely Arrangements Bundle

Hi Friends!

This week’s card is a Twisted Easel fun fold, which means it stands beautifully for display and folds flat for mailing. If you’ve never tried this style before, it’s a fantastic way to add an interactive element without complicated scoring.

Twisted Easel fun fold birthday card created with the Lovely Arrangements bundle and Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper featuring a white floral focal point, layered leaves, navy ribbon bow, and green Happy Birthday sentiment on a patterned background.

The botanical background brings movement and interest immediately. Instead of covering it completely, I framed it with a stitched rectangle panel to give the eye a resting place and create a strong focal area.

The white floral image layered over green leaves keeps the design clean while still feeling detailed. Because the patterned paper is fairly bold, keeping the focal flower mostly neutral allows the card to feel balanced rather than busy.

The navy patterned strip on the left adds vertical structure and grounds the design. A soft ribbon bow introduces texture and softness, while a few embellishments finish the card without overwhelming it.

This is a layout you can easily adapt:
– Change the sentiment for sympathy or thank you
– Swap the patterned paper for a more subtle background
– Use different color combinations for seasonal variations

If you missed the live demonstration, you can watch the full replay on YouTube (link below). I walk through the measurements, layering order, and design reasoning so you can recreate this card or make it your own.

Floral cards never go out of style — and the Lovely Arrangements bundle makes layering simple and elegant.

Lovely Arrangements Fun Fold Card with Interactive Layers

 Hi Friends!

Today’s card features the Lovely Arrangements bundle and a fun fold design that adds movement and interest without being difficult to create. This card was inspired by a design shared by Carolyn Dieleman at our recent Vancouver Island Demonstrator get-together, and I loved how easily it could be adapted with different colours and papers.

Fun fold cards are a wonderful way to surprise the recipient, and this one opens beautifully to reveal space for a heartfelt message while still folding flat for mailing. The Lovely Arrangements images work perfectly for this style of card, adding soft florals and layered detail.

If you missed the live demonstration, you can watch the replay on my YouTube channel to see exactly how this card comes together step by step. I hope this project inspires you to try a fun fold the next time you sit down to stamp.

Lovely Arrangements Handmade Card with Soft Floral Layers

 Hi Friends!

Today’s card features the Lovely Arrangements bundle, and it’s a perfect example of how simple layering and soft colour choices can create an elegant, timeless design. I love how these floral images work together — they’re detailed without being fussy and easy to adapt for almost any occasion.

During my live demonstration, I focused on clean layers, balanced placement, and letting the images shine without overcomplicating the design. This is one of those cards you can recreate again and again just by changing colours or sentiments.

If you missed the live demonstration, you can watch the replay on my YouTube channel and see the full process from start to finish. I hope this card inspires you to pull out your Lovely Arrangements bundle and enjoy some relaxed creative time in your craft room.
