Two Easy Handmade Halloween Cards with the Oh My Fright Bundle

 Hi Friends!

Halloween is the perfect time to have a little fun in the craft room, and today's projects do exactly that! Using the Oh My Fright Bundle and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper, I created two completely different Halloween cards that are playful, colourful, and easy to recreate.

Handmade Halloween card featuring orange patterned paper strips, smiling ghost, yellow moon, black bat, two cats, witch hat, Boo to You greeting, and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper.

Handmade Halloween card featuring layered orange stitched circles, smiling ghost, spider web background, black bats, Happy Halloween greeting, and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper.

The first card features an adorable smiling ghost surrounded by delicate spider webs and flying bats, all framed with layered stitched circles that create a wonderful focal point. The second card takes a completely different approach by combining patterned paper strips with a cheerful ghost, playful cats, a bright moon, and a fun "Boo to You" greeting.

One of the things I enjoy most about these projects is how they show the versatility of the Oh My Fright Bundle. Even when using the same products, a simple change in layout and paper patterns creates two completely unique cards.

In the video tutorial below, I demonstrate both cards from start to finish while sharing all of the measurements, supply list, and helpful tips so you can recreate them in your own craft room.

I hope these projects inspire you to pull out your Halloween supplies and enjoy creating handmade cards to share with family and friends this season.

Easy Handmade Halloween Card with the Oh My Fright Bundle and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper

 Hi Friends!

Halloween is such a fun time to step outside the everyday and create something playful, and today's card does exactly that! Using the Oh My Fright Bundle and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper, I created a clean and colourful Halloween card featuring glittery bats, detailed spider webs, and a cheerful "Happy Halloween" greeting.

Handmade Halloween card made with the Stampin' Up! Oh My Fright Bundle featuring black glitter bats, stamped spider webs, embossed Pumpkin Pie background, Happy Halloween sentiment, and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper.

Handmade Halloween card made with the Stampin' Up! Oh My Fright Bundle featuring black glitter bats, stamped spider webs, embossed Pumpkin Pie background, Happy Halloween sentiment, and Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper.

One of my favourite things about this design is that it does not rely on a complicated layout or special techniques. Instead, it lets the beautiful stamped images, die cuts, and textured embossed background take centre stage. It is a wonderful reminder that simple cards can still make a big impact.

If you enjoy sending handmade Halloween cards to family, friends, grandchildren, neighbours, or anyone who appreciates a little seasonal fun, this design is easy to recreate and can be personalized in many different ways.

Below you will find the complete measurements, supply list, and step-by-step instructions so you can make this card in your own craft room. I hope it inspires you to add a little Halloween creativity to your stamping!

Z Fun Fold Halloween Card with the Spooky Sweet Suite and Spooky Halloween Bundle

 Hi Friends!

Today’s card is the third in my Halloween trilogy this week, and it’s all about combining the charm of the Spooky Sweet Suite with the playful versatility of a Z fun fold design. Using the Spooky Halloween bundle and the coordinating Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper, I created a lively Halloween sidewalk scene filled with trick-or-treaters, glowing pumpkins, and plenty of seasonal charm.

The background is built from layers of the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper, with its detailed patterns helping set the perfect scene. I paired it with stamped and die-cut images from the Spooky Halloween bundle to add a variety of textures and focal points. The bats, pumpkins, and character elements bring the design to life, while the Z fold construction creates extra dimension and a fun interactive element when the card is opened.

Here's a list of supplies and measurements used for this card:

What I love most about this project is how the fold works with the scene. When the card is closed, you get a peek at the Halloween magic. Open it up, and the full scene unfolds — it’s almost like stepping into a neighbourhood on Halloween night. This design would be easy to adapt for other holidays or occasions, but the Spooky Sweet Suite really makes it shine for October celebrations.

Whether you’re a fan of fun folds, a collector of Halloween paper crafting ideas, or just looking for a fresh project to try, this Z fun fold design is sure to inspire. I’ve included a video tutorial so you can follow along and create your own version.

Two Haunted House Halloween Cards – Featuring the Spooky Halloween Bundle

 Hi Friends!

Halloween crafting has officially begun, and we’re starting with something extra fun — a bright and whimsical haunted house card using the Spooky Halloween Bundle from Stampin’ Up!’s Spooky Sweet Suite Collection. This card blends playful patterns, pops of colour, and just the right touch of spooky charm to get you in the Halloween spirit.

And another that brings all its playful details to life. Also featuring the Spooky Halloween bundle, this design captures the perfect mix of eerie and adorable with bold silhouettes, seasonal colours, and just the right touch of sparkle.

The card’s focal point is a haunting black tree layered against a cozy Halloween porch scene, complete with glowing pumpkins and curious cats. A pop of pink “Spooky” signage adds an unexpected twist, making the design both festive and fun. The Spooky Sweet suite die cuts images work beautifully together, giving you endless options for customizing your own version.

Capture Your Spookiest Moments with Our Halloween Scrapbooking Kit

 Hi Friends!

On Monday I did something a bit different for me, during the facebook and youtube live demonstration.

I have been doing scrapbooking classes since January. They started out my own design and each month we did a double page layout. The Stampers that come to the class got to have input into the theme for the pages.

Then, when Stampin' Up! brought out the Scrapbooking Workshop Kits, I dove right in and changed my pages over to the new kits.

My class stampers love them and we have so much fun creating them together.

Here's the double page layout I did on Monday night. It uses the Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit by Stampin' Up!

(note: I blurred out our grand children's faces on the first page, and the second page is waiting for this year's pictures)

Everything is done for you in these kits, including cutting and layout information.

Cute Halloween Card

 Hi Friends!

I saw a Halloween card by LeeAnn Greff using the Picture This Dies and Cute Halloween designer paper.

I think it's so, so cute. I made one like it, with a few changes to make it my own.

Halloween is not to far now, and I have to do my cards and goodies early as some of them have to be shipped out of town to our Grand Children in the north.

I am so glad Halloween is in October because it means I can mail chocolate to them and not worry about it melting along the way!  Lol.  I send them chocolate in July once, and it was a disaster. They pick their mail up in a rural box, and the card and chocolate sat in that tin box in almost 30 deg heat!  Our son said they had a chocolate lake inside their box.  Oops, not doing that again .

I created this card during my Thursday Drop In Live Stamping in my VIP Group this week. Check out the video to see how I created the custom envelope out of 6x6 designer paper! Yup it's true!

If you would like to see how I created it, please watch the video below. If you enjoy it, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and Live Stamping. Once you have subscribed, click on the bell icon to get notification when I add to my channel.

You can find a supply list and all the measurements in the description of the video. Just click on Show More and it will be there for you.  Thanks so much!

Spooky Hallowe'en Banner - Stampin' Up! Style

What do you get when you cross the Stampin' Up!
Build a Banner Simply Created Kit
 (Holiday Catalogue, pg 31, Item #133507 - $24.95)
and the Stampin' Up!
Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit
(Holiday Catalogue, pg 31, Item #132698 - $11.95)?
Well this is what I got ....

I used the instructions with the Halloween kit and did it exactly as they said.  Isn't this just so much fun?  I know our Grandsons will love it, they are HUGE Halloween fans!
Here are some up close pictures for you ....

I did not use any extra supplies for this banner, and I still have 12 canvas pennants leftover.  I think I will do a Christmas one as well.  If you run out of pennants and twine you can purchase just them in the Banner Simply Created Refill Kit (Holiday Catalogue, pg 30, Item #132699 - $11.95).  You get another 18 canvas pennants and 9ft of twine to play with.
And .....  if you have a smart phone (I-phone or android) you can download the "Layar" app and view a video on making this banner right from page 31 of the Holiday Catalogue.  Anywhere in the catalogue you see this little red icon ....
(click on the picture to go to the Holiday Catalogue Flip Book)
just scan over it with the app on the phone and you will get a video right away on how to use that product!  It is the coolest thing ever.
Want to order your very own banner kits?  Just email me and I will make that happen!!!!

Owl Punchies - Hallowe'en-ies

Today I have some more really cute punched images made out of the Stampin' Up! 2 Step Owl Punch.  This time there are 3 in a Hallowe'en series.  I found these cuties at Cristena Bagne's website (sorry can't find the exact post but there is a link to her website - the original post was somewhere around Sept 8/2010).  I did not make the cute box she had her's in, I just made the images.  Here they are ...
First Frankenstein ~ ~ ~ ~
and here is the Bat  ~ ~ ~ ~

and finally the ghost ~ ~ ~ ~
So darned cute, don't you think?  Thanks, Cristena, for the awesome Owl Punchies.  Thanks for popping by, I hope you get some stamping done today!

EDIT:  I edited the original post and removed the Witch owl punchie and inserted the Bat punchie as the Witch was from a different stamper.  I will show you the Witch tomorrow.  Sorry for the inconvenience!
Happy Stampin' ..........................................
