Fun For Fall Scarecrow Card in Soft Peach and White

Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing another card created with the Fun For Fall Bundle from Stampin’ Up!, and if you have been following along with my recent projects, you might recognize our little scarecrow!

I have been having so much fun seeing just how many different looks I can create with this bundle. For today’s card, I decided to move away from some of the stronger traditional fall colours and create something softer using peach tones and lots of crisp white.

The scarecrow is still the star of the card, but this time I surrounded him with white corn stalks and a rustic fence and layered everything over a pretty Crisp Cantaloupe focal panel. The embossed white background adds lots of texture while still allowing the colourful centre of the card to stand out.

I also added a few tiny butterfly embellishments for an extra little touch of detail and finished the card with a simple Congratulations sentiment.

I love what happens when you take the same stamps and dies and simply change the colour combination and layout. This card feels completely different from the other Fun For Fall projects we have created, even though many of the same images are being used.

If you have a bundle in your craft room that you have already used several times, try challenging yourself to give it a completely different colour palette. Sometimes that is all it takes to make those familiar images feel brand new again.

Fun For Fall Scarecrow Card with a Colourful Farm Scene

Hi Friends!

I have another Fun For Fall Bundle card to share with you today! I have been having so much fun with this bundle and finding different ways to use that adorable scarecrow and all of the little images that go along with him.

For this card, I decided to create an entire fall farm scene.

Our colourful scarecrow is standing front and centre, surrounded by tall corn stalks, rustic fences and three rather cheeky crows. One of them has even decided that the top of his hat is the perfect place to sit!

Rather than using Designer Series Paper for the background, I kept things fairly simple and created a softly coloured backdrop for the scene. This allowed all of those stamped and die-cut elements to really stand out.

I especially like how the corn stalks and fences help create the feeling of depth. Instead of simply placing the scarecrow on the front of the card, all of the different elements work together to make it look like he is standing right out in the field.

The Fun For Fall Bundle has been such a fun one to play with because the individual images can be mixed, matched and arranged in so many different ways. You can keep your card simple, create an interactive fun fold, or use several of the images together to build a complete scene like I did here.

I finished the card with the “Hoping Your Day Is Wonderfall” sentiment, which seemed absolutely perfect for our happy little scarecrow.

I hope it gives you another idea for your own fall crafting!

Fun For Fall Scarecrow Card with Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper

Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing another card featuring the adorable Fun For Fall Bundle from Stampin’ Up!, and this time I’ve paired it with Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper for a cheerful fall card.

After our recent Pendulum Fun Fold, I decided to give the fancy folds a rest and let the cute images in this bundle take centre stage.

The scarecrow is definitely the star of this card, but I think his two little crow friends are doing their best to steal the show! I paired them with the warm yellow gingham pattern and added black accents to really make those fall colours pop.

There is also plenty of texture on this card. The embossed white layers add interest without competing with the patterned paper or those adorable stamped images.

And, of course, Happy Fall Y’all seemed like the perfect greeting to finish it off!

In the video tutorial, I’ll take you through the entire card from start to finish and share all of the measurements, supplies and step-by-step instructions so you can recreate it yourself.

One of the things I enjoy about the Fun For Fall Bundle is how many different looks you can create with the same images. We have already used this little scarecrow on an interactive Pendulum Fun Fold, and now he has a completely different look on this regular-fold card.

Pendulum Fun Fold Card with the Fun For Fall Bundle

Hi Friends!

Today I’m sharing a fun interactive card featuring the Stampin’ Up! Fun For Fall Bundle, and this one has a little surprise built right into the design.

It’s a Pendulum Fun Fold Card, which means part of the card actually moves when you give it a little nudge.

I love using this type of fold with playful images, and the scarecrow, corn stalks and crows from the Fun For Fall Bundle work perfectly with it. The pendulum element adds just enough movement to make the card feel extra special without making the construction overly complicated.

In the video tutorial, I’ll show you exactly how the Pendulum Fun Fold mechanism works and take you through the complete card from start to finish.

I’ll also share all of the measurements, supplies and step-by-step instructions so you can recreate the fold with the Fun For Fall Bundle or adapt it to other stamps and dies you already have.

This is one of those fun folds that is just as much fun to give as it is to make. The movement adds a playful little surprise when the recipient opens or handles the card, and the fold can easily be changed up for different seasons and occasions.

Fall Scarecrow Card with Fun For Fall and Glow of Harvest Paper

 Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing an adorable fall scarecrow card created with the Stampin' Up! Fun For Fall Bundle and Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Glow of Harvest is my August Product of the Month, and it was a perfect choice for this card. The paper features beautiful florals, foliage and pumpkins in soft autumn colours, with a pearlescent finish that adds a subtle shimmer to your projects.

For my card, I created a little fall scene with the scarecrow, fence and hay bales from the Fun For Fall Bundle. I added an embossed panel behind the scarecrow for extra texture and used pieces of the Glow of Harvest paper to bring more of those warm fall colours into the design. The Hoping Your Day Is Wonderful sentiment finishes it off perfectly.

There are quite a few little details on this card, but it is not a fun fold or complicated technique. It is simply a fun fall card that gives you lots of opportunities to play with layers, texture and colour.

I hope this gives you some inspiration for your fall card making and another idea for using the gorgeous Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper.
