Magnolia Card - Tilda and Her Bunny

Welcome!  I hope you are all ready for Easter (or a long weekend if you don't observe Easter).  I decided to colour the Magnolia image "Tilda and Her Bunny" for Easter cards for our children this year.  I used StazOn black ink to stamp the image onto Stampin' Up! Watercolour Paper. Then I used Stampin' Write Markers and an Aqua Pen to colour the image.  This one is so darned cute!!!
I had just finished doing a Brayering Class and had this card sitting out on my craft table.  I thought it would make a great background for the image.  I coloured this image almost 2 weeks ago now, and have only just had the time to put them (have to make 2 cards) onto cards.  HERE is where I originally posted details and pictures of this card. Here is an closer view of the coloured image for you .....
Since this picture, I put some Liquid Applique on the bunny tale and heated it so it puffed up.  Oh my the tail is so cute!!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog today.  I always appreciate your comments and love reading each and every one of them.
Happy Easter to you and your family......

Nature Silhouettes Grad Card

Yesterday I shared with you a grad card I made using the 2 Step Owl Punch (HERE is that post).  Today I have another grad card for you using the same colour scheme, but this time I used the Nature Silhouettes stamp set and a brayered background. ......

I brayered Perfect Plum in the sky area, and Pear Pizzazz in the ground area using a 1-1/4" circle mask for a moon.  Then I stamped the tree and grass from the stamp set in Basic Black.  Then I put sticky notes on top of what I already stamped, and stamped the grass part of the tree and grass stamp again to make the grassy area longer.  Finally I stamped the buck in Basic Black.  I did not like that it did not stamp solidly, so I went over it with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker.  This filled it in completely, but it also made him stand out more than the tree and grass, which was a bonus!  The sentiment is computer generated.
Stamps:  Nature Silhouettes
Ink:  Perfect Plum, Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black
Cardstock:  Brilliant Blue (retired), Brushed Gold, Whisper White
Other:  Brayer, Backgrounds 1Texture Plate
This week is Grandchildren Week, they will hold your hand only a little while, but your heart for a life time!!!!

Happy Stampin' ...................

Brayered Thinking Of You - CASEd Card

In April I am having a Brayering Technique Class.  When I saw this card that Michelle Zindorf recently posted and provided a tutorial for, I knew I would make it one of the cards we will be making.
Here is a picture of my version of that card ......
I just love how Michelle does her cards, I have cased a few of them now.  This one is a bit different as it uses the Basic Gray Classic pad and the Whisper White Craft pad in a bit of a different way.  But it is real easy to do because Michelle gives you a step by step tutorial.
Now looking at this, I see I need to go back and do some more of the white dotting.  The brayered part of this card was real quick, I think it only took me about 10 minutes to do.
Thanks for visiting, if you would like to come to my Brayering Class (we will be doing 3 full cards and 2 extra techniques) just email me
Happy Stampin'. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Just Believe Brayered Card - CASEd Card Share

This is the last one of my CASEd cards for now.  This is CASEd from Gretchen Barron, another very talented lady.  I love brayering, which this card uses.  I love clean and simple, which this card is, and I LOVE rhinestones and bling of any kind, which I made this card have!

I used almost the same colours as Gretchen, but I changed the Pretty In Pink to Pink Pirouette to make it a bit softer.  I added Basic Rhinestones to the butterfly body and made antennas for him as well.  I also added a sentiment to the bottom, and omitted the ribbon.  My Just Believe floral images are stamped in Early Espresso instead of Chocolate Chip.  So I used the same colour scheme, just used a couple of different colours.  When making this card, make sure you ink your floral images really, really well so you get good coverage and solid stamped images (yup learned this by the hard way!).
Happy Christmas Eve, everyone!  I hope your day is fabulous tomorrow, and Santa is good to each and every one of you.  I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to visit my blog!

Peaceful Nature - CASEd Card Share

Another CASEd card, this time from the great Michelle Zindorf, the queen of Brayering.  This card caught my eye by its simple elegance ............
The bird is from the Stampin' Up! Level 3 hostess set Peaceful Wishes, a Christmas stamp set from the almost retired Holiday Mini catalogue.  I wanted to show my Stampin' Ladies how you can use seasonal stamps in a non-seasonal way.  Michelle shows this superbly!  I love the colours on this card as well.  The only change I did was to add a sentiment to it.
Ah, hump day.  This used to mean something to me when I used to work, but now it doesn't!  LOL
Bye for now ............  Glenda Mollet
