Triple Layer Punch and Double Embossing Technique Card

The second card I have ready for my workshop later this month uses the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and the technique Double Embossing.  The Double Embossing will show the ladies how to use Stampin' Up!s Embossing Folders and Embossing Powders.  I made a full sized card liket this little one a while ago, but thought I would show this one to you anyways ....
I used the stamp set "Easy Events" for the stem and Finial Press Embossing Folder with Melon Mambo Embossing Powder.
So that's 5 techniques down in two cards, and 7 more to go.  I will be busy over the next few days, and will share the cards I make with you.
Happy Stampin' ....

Punched Floral Birthday Card

A few times I've told you about the demo only magazine we receive monthly from Stampin' Up! called Stampin' Success.  It is chocker block full of inspiration and awesome ideas.  The Aug 2011 issue is no exception.  There is a scrapbook page that has lots of floral embellishments on it made using the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  I love to make use of my punches in other ways, and was inspired to create this card......
All the flowers have been made using Stampin' Up! punches: Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" circle punches. I used the now retired Sweetest Stem Embosslits to make the leaves, but you could just as easily use the Little Leaves Embosslits, I just had to use this one because I haven't used it yet!
Stamps:  Very Verstatile (sentiment)
Ink:  Early Espresso
Paper:  Calypso Coral Patterns DSP
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight
Other: punches listed above, Champagne Mist Shimmer Spritz (on the early espresso flower centers) Basic Rhinestones
This card was very labour intensive, but really fun to make.  A bright, happy card.
The cardstock sizes are:
Whisper White 8.5 x 5.5 folded in half
  Early Espresso 1-5/8 x 5.5
  DSP 1.5 x 5.5
Happy Stampin' and thanks for visiting!

Tempting Turquoise Birthday Card

Well I got to create a quick card for you today.  Here it is ....
Hmmm it seems my picture is not the greatest!  Must fix that.
I used the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch to create the 4 flowers that are peeping up in the middle of the card.  The lower part of Whisper White is embossed with one of the new Embossing Folders from the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue called "Stripes".  They also brought back the Tempting Turquoise 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon so I used some of that and some of the Whisper White too.
Stamps:  Swirls and Curls Verses (hostess set)
Ink:  Basic Black
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise
Other:  Stripes Embossing Folder, 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.
Well I am going away again, and will not have internet access while I am away.  I hope to manage to keep up with emails tho.  So I won't be posting to my blog for a couple of weeks.  Sorry, but I promise when I get back I will get back to the posts and creations again.
Happy Stampin' and have a great summer .... ... .... ...

Just For You Double Embossing Technique

I used the Double Embossing Technique for the background of this card.  In behind the Tangerine Tango embossing powder is the First Edition Specialty DSP.  Another product that has made it into the new Stampin' Up! 2011-12 Idea Book And Catalogue!
I pulled out my Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch and created this flower.  I've been seeing them in lots of blogs lately and can't remember if this is an original creation or "inspired / cased" from someone else.  I ove the Bold blossom leaf image with this punch art.  It did not make it into the new cataloogue, but it is still available for another month in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini catalogue.
Stamps:  Bold Blossom, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Lucky Limeade, Basic Black, VersaMark
Paper:  First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Basic Black
Other:  Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch, Curly Label punch, Fire Circle Brad
Hope you are having a great weekend and Happy Stampin' . . . .
