How to Make an Elegant Ink Blended Floral Card with the Simply Beautiful Bundle

 Hi Friends!

If you love soft colour blending and elegant card designs, this is a project you are going to want to try.

Elegant handmade birthday card featuring a teal layered floral die cut, soft ink blended background over gold and white designer paper, and a clean sentiment label, created with the Simply Beautiful bundle.

Elegant handmade birthday card featuring a teal layered floral die cut, soft ink blended background over gold and white designer paper, and a clean sentiment label, created with the Simply Beautiful bundle.

This card was inspired by a beautiful swap I received from my friend and Silver Sister, Sue Philip, and it immediately caught my eye with its soft ink blended background and subtle gold accents.

Using the Simply Beautiful bundle, I recreated this design by blending ink over gold and white designer paper. This technique creates a soft glow while still allowing the gold detail to shine through, adding just the right amount of interest and texture.

The layered floral elements bring everything together, creating a focal point that is both bold and balanced. It is a wonderful combination of simple techniques and elegant results.

This layout is easy to adapt with different colours, making it a great go-to design for many occasions.

Be sure to watch the video tutorial below where I walk you through the full process and share tips for achieving a smooth ink blended finish.

How To Create A Sunset Scene Card

 Hi Friends!

Last Monday I shared how to create a beautiful blended background for the Sailing Home stamp set and Smooth Sailing Dies in my facebook VIP Group.

I decided to create a summery themed card right in the middle of the extreme weather situation that British Columbia, Canada was in. All of our roads leading out of the lower mainland of BC to parts east were washed out. Yes! There are 4 major highways out of the Vancouver area, and all 4 of them had major road washouts and slides.

So I needed a bit of relief from the weather, and my mind went to our sailing days. We used to own a sail boat called Maraya until about 4 years ago, and we still miss it.

Here's the card I shared last week during the Trip Achievers Blog Hop ...

And now I am excited to share the video tutorial with you as well. Watch the video below and see how I added a horizon to the card and a different card base too!

If you would like to see how I created it, please watch the video below. Sailing Home Sunset Card

Hi Friends!

Welcome to our Stampin' Up! Trip Achievers Blog Hop!

I am excited to share today's card with you. I live on the west coast of BC, Canada in a small town right on the ocean.

This card comes from personal experience when we used to have our sailboat Maraya.

The sunsets while sailing on the Pacific Ocean are amazing. I created this blended background with the Blending Brushes. They make this type of background so easy to do.

I used the Rainbow Glitter paper to create where the lighthouse is. Then I added a lot of Wink Of Stella to the boat and the lighthouse.

The embellishments are the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems.

I will be showing how I created this card during my Make It Monday Live Stamping in my facebook group.  Come on over and join us!

Meadow Sunset Card and Video

Hi Friends!

I have a beautiful sunset card for you today, with a blended background. We were supposed to be in Maui, Hawaii this week on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip.

We are unable to go but the Canadian Demonstrators who earned the trip, but were unable to go met on Zoom last weekend.  We were asked to create a card with a tropical theme.

I created this one, then I shared how to create it on Monday night during my Make It Monday Live Stamping.

I used the Meadow Dies to create the silhouettes in the foreground, and the Blending Brushes to create the sunset with Mango Melody and Poppy Parade ink pads.

CLICK HERE for a list of what I used to create this beautiful card.

There is a video below on how it is made, I hope you enjoy it and consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel to watch all my videos and tutorials!

Catch me each Monday at 8 pm (PT) for Make It Monday Live Stamping in my VIP Group!

See you there.
