Shaker Card Tutorial Replay

 Hi Friends!

Thank you for dropping in today!  I have a fun interactive card for you today.

This card has been prepped and waiting to be created by my group of Seniors in our local Sunshine Club.

It was supposed to happen last March (2020) but then, as you know, IT happened and we have not been able to be together since.

So this past Wednesday we finally got to create this card. The original card used the retired Easter Promise stamp set and is filled with a mixture of different kinds of retired sequins. This is the one that the Sunshine Club Ladies did.  But in the video below I use the Blessings Of Home stamp set which will be released in the Stampin' Up! Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue in January 2022.

I challenge anyone to pick up a shaker card and not play with it!  It is always so fun, no matter how many times I make one.

I also have a video to share with you on how to make this card, and the principle can be used for any shaker card. There are 3 key things to remember when making a shaker card:

1.  use foam strips to create a "pocket" for the shaker bits

2.  use an embossing buddy (or corn starch) to remove the static on the window sheet

3.  use enough or as little shakers to fill the pocket

If you would like to see how I created it, please watch the video below. If you enjoy it, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and Live Stamping. Stampin' Smiles!
