Tropical Chic - A CASED Card

Hi Friends!

Last week I hosted 3 Tropical Chic Stamp-a-Stack Classes.  I just love, love, love this suite of products.

One of the cards we made I shared back on July 10th. CLICK HERE to go to that post.

I cased this card from page 120 of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and made it exactly like the picture.

The second card we made in the class is one I cased from Sharon Hashimoto Burkert

I love how she used a lot of white space and shading on this card.  To do the shading you first ink your stamp (the flower for example) in the lightest colour (Powder Pink) and then using a dauber you add some of the darker colour where you want the darker shading to be (Flirty Flamingo).  Once it dries the colours blend together and you get this amazing effect.  Then I finished the flowers off with a layer of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush!

Would you like me to do a video on how to do this?  Just EMAIL ME and I am happy to do it.

This beautiful card uses the Tropical Chic stamp set, Tropical Dies, Tropical Escape designer paper and Facetted Dots for the centers of the flowers.  A complete list can be found below my signature and you can go to my Canadian Online Store for more information on these products.

Each month I have a Host Code and I appreciate it when an online order is placed and the code is used.  I am happy to send you a Thank You gift when you use the code. But, if your order is over $200 Canadian, please don't use the code because your order qualifies for Host Rewards and I love it when my customers get FREE products!  I will still send you the gift, too.

You can find my current Host Code on the right side of my blog up near the top in a brightly coloured box.  Thank you so much!

Thanks for visiting today, I hope you have a crafty day.
