It also has matching dies - Cross of Hope
I came across this one from Mary Deatherage ....
Isn't it beautiful? There is something about white and gold foil that just makes the soul happy!
I just had to create it just as it was. There is so much texture with the Petal Pair embossing folder and some of the leaves die cuts from Petals & More dies.
Then I was inspired to create this card as well ....
I used Copper Foil paper instead of the gold, and the leaves/floral image and matching dies from the Hold On To Hope set and Cross of Hope dies. Sometimes we need cards like these and I love having some in my stash for just those times. I usually don't send cards with "Sympathy" on them, I much prefer the sentiments on the cards above instead.
Here's the recipe for the Thinking Of You card:
Thick Whisper White 8-1/2 x 5-1/2
Copper Foil 3-5/8 x 4-7/8
Whisper White 3-1/2 x 4-3/4, 3-1/4 x 3 (x 2 pieces), 2-1/4 x 3-1/2
I used some multipurpose adhesive sheet on the back of the white piece before I die cut the intricate white cross.
I cut the solid copper cross out of the copper layer before adhering it to the card base (kind of smart huh? sure saves on paper by doing this)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, VersaMark
Marker: Pear Pizzazz
Other:
Hold On To Hope stamp set
Cross of Hope dies
Copper embossing powder
Climbing Orchid stamp set (sentiment)
