Today's card was inspired by one I saw on pinterest by Debbie Blake. We did it at my weekly Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts, and the Ladies loved it!
We stamped From The Heart down the right side of the card using the "ink-stamp-stamp-stamp-stamp" technique as I call it. You ink once and stamp four times to get varying degrees of ink. When you reink it for the second time, the dark image is hidden by the die cuts. Isn't that genius? We coloured in the bird and flowers with an aqua pen and ink from the lid of the stamp pads - Fresh Fig, Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist. The dots are added using Sahara Sand and a stamp from the Waterfront stamp set. If you add Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece to your cardstock before you die cut it, the narrow intricate dies are much easier to adhere to your project!
