How To Create A Poinsettia Petals Card Using The Poinsettia Dies

 Hi Friends!

Oh my goodness. The Poinsettia Petals stamp set and coordinating Poinsettia dies are so amazing!  They make stunning cards, and this one is no exception.

I used Blackberry Bliss cardstock and Shimmery White cardstock to create this beautiful card.

The background is embossed using the Merry Melody Embossing Folder. Isn't it stunning!

A piece of Painted Christmas Designer Paper and a piece of Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon just finish the whole thing off.

How to create a card using the Poinsettia Petals Products!

During our Friday Night Collaboration, my viewers and I created this beautiful card using the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and Poinsettia dies.

I brought out the stamp set and dies, and inspiration card picture from a set I saw created by Gail Ellis. We just let our creativity flow and this card was created.

Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card

 Good Morning Friends!

My apologies for not doing the Thursday Zoom Drop In on my facebook page today. My DIL, oldest Grandson and I are heading to Tofino, BC to book some camping spots for the spring and we won't be home until later this afternoon.

I will still be doing the Friday Late Night Stamping tomorrow night at 8 pm (pacific time) though, so make plans to join me!

The card I have to share with you today is the one we created during the Sunshine Ladies Stamp Crafts yesterday.

This group of "Senior" Ladies and I have been stamping on Wednesday mornings for almost 10 years now. We had to stop from March until September because of "you know what" but now with the new barriers on my studio table, and all the other precautions, we are managing to get together 3 weeks a month for some much needed stamping and socializing.

The Ladies loved the card we did yesterday using the Poinsettia Place bundle and the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Paper.

We sponged Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam onto Vellum and die cut it out with the Poinsettia dies. A bit of Petal Pink cardstock and lots of Whisper White makes this a very classic and elegant Christmas card.

Split Card Technique Card Share and Video

 Hi Everyone

Yesterday we created two cards during the Thursday Zoom Drop In using the Split Card Technique.

Although I have seen cards made using this technique, this is the first time for me, and the cards were made without watching a tutorial or video on it!  There were a lot of decisions made on the fly and thank you to everyone who provided input.

I think the cards turned out beautiful, what do you think?

We used the brand new Poinsettia Petals bundle, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Soft Suede inks.  Some Wink of Stella and embellishments finished off the cards perfectly.  Let me know if you have any questions CLICK HERE to email me.
