Cherish The Season Card Share

 Hi Friends!

The Aug to Dec Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up! is almost over. The Last Chance List (aka Retiring Items) will be posted soon.

I thought we would take a look at some cards from way back when the catalogue launched in August.

This card was made using the Cherish The Season bundle found on page 33 of the mini catalogue.

TIP:

When die cutting the bells, place the bell die on your cutting plate with the cutting edge up. Place the cardstock over top, and run them through the Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.  Then slowly lift the top cutting place off trying not to disturb the die and the pieces inside it.  Add a bit of one sided tape to the back of the die cut while the bell and all the itty bitty pieces are still in the die. Flip the bell over and voila, you have a die cut with the pieces still attached so it looks embossed instead of die cut.

To do the double (or triple) colours die cut the white bell, then die cut the coloured piece.  Then gently slide the bell off without disturbing the pieces (use the paper piercer on the Take Your Pick Tool to pop them out leaving them behind in the die. Then lay the white bell over the top and add your one sided tape!
It works!  Let me know if you would like a video on how to do this.

I will share some "retro" cards over the next few days. Just remember, if you still have a wish list for the Aug to Dec Mini Catalogue, order your items now before the Last Chance List comes out. Once that is published, many products will sell out very soon. And anything on that list is "while supplies last".
