Double Triangle Point Card Share

Hi Friends!

Last week was the Monthly Stamping Club stamping time.  I used to call it a meeting, then a get together, but it has morphed into Stamping Time.  We get together and stamp and have fun.  These amazing Ladies come each month and create 3 fun projects, have a treat or two along with coffee, tea or water.  Plus one of them is the Hostess for the month.

This month we made 3 cards (sometimes they are other types of projects).  The first one is the Double Triangle Point Card, then we did what I am calling the Embedded Rose Technique, and finally an Embedded Leaf Technique that I cased from Linda Parker.  I will show the other two projects in the next two posts, but today I have the Double Triangle Point card.

To create the base of this card, you take an 8-1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock (I used Thick Whisper White).  Then you score it at 5-1/2 on the 11" side, and 4-1/4 on the 8-1/2" side.  Then you cut the cardstock into a triangle from tip to tip right through the middle.

This leaves you with 2 card fronts that each have two score lines on them.  Just fold on the score lines and you have a "regular" sized card.  Decorate as you like.  Here is what I used:

Thick Whisper White 8-1/2 x 11
Wisteria Wonder 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 cut diagonally
Delightful Daisy designer series paper 5-1/8 x 3-7/8 cut diagonally (retired and no longer available)
Whisper White 2-3/4 x 5-1/4, 2 x 4-1/4
Calypso Coral 2 x5-1/4

A list of other supplies can be found under my signature.
