Pip the Puppy

We got our grandson James a wonderful book called "Diggers" and in it is Pip the Puppy. So I just had to name this card after Pip, whom James loves looking for behind the flaps in his "Digger" book. This is the second card we will be making at my Punchie class on Aug 25 th.

Ingredients:
Stamps: Very Versatile (sentiment)
Paper: Confetti White, Soft Suede, Real Red, Old Olive, River Rock DSP (retired)
Ink: Soft Suede, Bashful Blue, Summer Sun
Other: Pip the Puppy Punchie, Cloud template from Scallop Oval punch, Cuttlebug EF, Scallop Oval and Small Oval punches, sponges, dimensionals
This card was not at all what I started out to make. But I am in the process of reading my Rubber Stamp Madness magazine and it is mostly about scenic stamping, so I could not resist.
Hope your weekend is going great, mine sure is!

Kaleidoscope Elephant

This elephant (originally by Heather) is just so darn cute. We will be doing him in my August Punchie class. I wanted to make a card that my stampers could put a pink or a blue elephant on and turn it into a girl or boy card. That is a very difficult task, let me tell you. I spent a lot of time picking the colours and the designer paper. Then I hit upon Kaleidoscope, and BINGO it was perfect. Pinks, Blue, Yellow, Gree, and fun designs, who would have thunk! Its hard to see but the Summer Sun layer has been textured using the SU Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate (the diamond one).
The receipe:
Stamps: Short and Sweet
Paper: Whisper White, Summer Sun, Bashful Blue / Pretty In Pink cardstock, Kaleidoscope DSP
Ink: Bashful Blue / Pretty In Pink
Other: Elephant Punchie, Going Gray marker, Scallop Oval and Large Oval punches (sentiment), Jumbo Gromet, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate

Miss Peggy Piggy and Sally Sheep......

Another punchie. I made this punchie quite a while ago, August 2008 to be exact. The card was slightly different, but now I am doing a Punchie Class through our local Parks and Recreation Department and they asked me to do 3 Punchies. I resurected Miss Piggy, and used more up to date colours. Here is what I used:
Miss Peggy Piggy:
Stamps: Stampscapes Water Pattern, Forest Friends, Sanded background, Hugs & Wishes,
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Pretty In Pink
Ink: Soft Suede, Sahara Sand
Other: Lace Edge punch, Wide Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch
Sally Sheep:
The second card for my class will be Sally Sheep. I also did this one a year ago, but now she is much updated with new In Colour designer series paper:
Stamps: Sincere Salutations, Stampscapes Reeds
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Basic Black, Old Olive
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Basic Black, Versa Mark
Other: Cottage Wall DSP, Frame from Matchbox Die, Large Oval punch
The third card is the Hippo from THIS post. I really love making these Punchie Pals, they are so cute and versatile too. Thanks for looking - Have a great weekend!
