A quick and maybe easy Horse & Sleigh Christmas Card with a Wow background!

Hi Friends!

On Monday during my Make It Monday live stamping demonstration on facebook, I shared how to create this beautiful Christmas card using the Horse & Sleigh bundle and One Horse Open Sleigh designer paper.

 

This was the card we did at my Sunshine Club Stamp Crafts class last week. They loved it. It was a bit of a gong show tho, lol.  We usually have about 9 people, so I prep for 14 just in case. I never know how many people are going to show up, because it is a drop in thing. We ended up having 13 people last week, good thing I had just enough prepped.

I brought designer paper choices for them to use, and everyone got to choose their own. I did have extras, thank goodness.

I got everyone started on stamping and die cutting, etc. and took the designer papers and started cutting them. I was happily in my "zone" when one of my aware Ladies said to me, ummmm isn't that designer paper supposed to be going the other way????  I had cut 6 of them portrait orientation instead of landscape.

Oh goodness, what a mess lol. I had enough paper for 5 of the 6 that I had mis-cut, so I ended up taking my sample card apart and giving my piece to the last one. It gave us all a good laugh to know I screw things up too.  

Anyhoo, it all turned out well, and they loved the card.   

So on Monday night I showed how to create this card during my Make It Monday live stamping on my facebook page (and shared to my VIP Group).

How to create a Z Fold card with the Horse & Sleigh bundle - with a twist!

I was shown this card by a Friend and Team Member, Janet L. She loves fancy folds as much as I do!

It's a bit of a fancy fold, but it is amazing the way the Horse part of the Horse & Sleigh stamp is handled.

And in this view, you can see the layered sleigh and horses ....
