Craft a Mesmerizing White on White Card with Vibrant Highlights: A Step-by-Step Guide

 Hi Friends!

In my latest Facebook and YouTube live demonstration, I had the pleasure of “casing the creator” by taking inspiration from a beautiful card made by my friend Kim Myers. I created my own version using the Happy Hibiscus bundle, and of course, I had to add my signature touch by crafting it in what I call "Glenda Colours"—a stunning white on white design with pops of vibrant colour.

This technique is perfect for creating elegant, clean cards that still have that "wow" factor. By starting with a simple white-on-white base, you can use a burst of colour to really make your focal point stand out. The Happy Hibiscus bundle is the ideal stamp set and die combination for this kind of design, thanks to its delicate flowers and intricate detailing.

I love how this card turned out—clean, classy, and absolutely striking. On the front, I used the hibiscus image as the centerpiece, adding layers of dimension and texture while keeping everything cohesive with that fresh white backdrop. The pops of colour come from strategically adding colour to the flowers and leaves, creating a beautiful contrast that still feels soft and sophisticated.

The inside of the card mirrors the elegance of the front, with just a hint of the same colours used for the flowers, keeping the design consistent while still leaving lots of space for a handwritten note. I really enjoy the process of taking a wonderful card idea and making it my own, and I hope you’ll love this version as much as I do.
