Create Beautiful Cards with the CTMH Secret Garden Scrapbooking Workshop Kit – On Sale Now!

 Hi Crafty Friends!

Are you ready to see how one versatile kit can do it all? Let’s dive into the Secret Garden Scrapbooking Workshop Kit from CTMH and discover how its charm extends far beyond scrapbooking. Yes, you heard that right—this kit makes gorgeous cards too!

Recently on my Facebook Live and YouTube channel, I shared a Thinking of You card that’s as soft and lovely as a gentle spring breeze. The Secret Garden kit brought it all together, with its two-toned cardstock and fabulous dies stealing the show. The result? A card that feels as heartfelt as the sentiment it carries.

What makes this kit such a treasure? It’s a creative powerhouse! You get patterned paper, that stunning two-toned cardstock, die-cut ephemera, a stamp set, and two die sets—all bundled for one fantastic price. And right now, it’s even sweeter—30% off! This sale is the perfect excuse to snag one (or two) while it lasts. Think of all the cards, scrapbook pages, and projects you can craft with such a dynamic collection of materials.

The beauty of my Thinking of You card lies in the details. The soft tones of the two-toned cardstock add a layer of elegance, while the dies create intricate accents that bring the design to life. Pairing these elements together showcases how effortlessly this kit transitions from scrapbooking layouts to stunning handmade cards.

Secret Garden Thank You cased card

I received this card in a swap I did with some local demonstrators back in October 2013.

This card was created by Susan Amundsen on Vancouver Island and it uses the Secret Garden stamp set and matching Secret Garden Framelits Dies (Annual Catalogue page 94 for stamp set, page 187 for the dies).  I love how Susan used tone on tone for the card making the flowers the center of attention.  The use of the Off The Grid stamp set (Annual Catalogue page 108) makes it very feminine.

Stamps:  Field Flowers, Off The Grid, Secret Garden, Occasional Quotes (R)
Ink:  Old Olive, Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Island Indigo, StazOn, VersaMark
  Paper:  Sahara Sand, Whisper White
Other:  Secret Garden dies, White Embossing Powder, Sponges, Dazzling Details

I hope you had a great holiday season and I wish you and your families all the best in 2014.

3D Bath Salts Holder - Roomie Gifts

I recently went to the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.  It is a tradition to make your roomies (and demos you travel with) Pillow Gifts.  This was my gift this year ....

I purchased some nice smelling bath salts and poured them into small ziplock bags.  Then popped them into these holders so they showed through the window in the front.  I used the Petite Pocket die (retired) to cut out the basic form, then the Apothecary Arts Framelits Die to make the hole in the front.  The Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder (retired) put the texture in the Baked Brown Sugar cardstock. I made sure I sponged all the edges all the way around.  The flower is from the Secret Garden stamp set and I cut it out with the Big Shot and the Secret Garden Framelits Dies - did not even have to hand cut the flower!!!!

   Stamps:  Secret Garden, Label Love
Ink:  Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar
Paper:  Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla
Other:  Petite Pocket Die, Apothecary Arts Framelits Die, Vintage Wallpaper EF, Sponges, Secret Garden Framelits Die, Facetted Button, XL Basic Pearl, Paper Piercing Tool

I hand cut the flag ends on the sentiment, then poked a row of holes down each side for more interest.  Some of the "Pillow Gifts" were awesome.  I was in the company of 5800 very talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators!  Oh the synergy was amazing ....

Secret Garden Card Share #3

This is the third and final card we made during my recent Flower Stamp-A-Stack.  We used the Secret Garden Bundle to create 3 awesome cards ......

Each one of these cards would have been so much fussier and time consuming if we had to hand cut out all the flowers.  I am so happy Stampin' Up! is coming out with more and more stamps that have matching dies!

Stamps:     Secret Garden (stamp set and dies bundle #131100 - $52.95 wood or #131099 - $44.95 clear)
                 Word Play (#120308 - $51.95 wood, #120651 - $35.95 clear)
Ink:            StazOn, Lucky Limeade
Markers:    Pink Pirouette, Summer Starfruit
Paper:        Whisper White, Basic Black, Lucky Limeade
Other:        Honeycomb EF (#129378 - $9.95), Ovals Framelits dies (#129381 - $32.95), Little Leaves
                  Die (#114511 - $6.95), Dazzling Details (#124117 - $3.25)

I love making flower cards, they are so bright and cheerful.  They brighten your day when it is yucky and wintery outside.  Now spring is here and our weather is getting warm and sunny.  But I will still be making flower cards, just can't stop!

I find the Stampin' Up! catalogues a great source for inspiration and casing.  This one is found on page 17 of the Spring 2013 catalogue .....

This is another one of the cards we made at my recent Flower Stamp-A-Stack.  I used almost the same items that are used in the catalogue.

Stamps:    Secret Garden (stamp set and dies bundle #131100 - $52.95 wood, #131099 - $44.95 clear)
                Sassy Salutations #126705 - $28.95 wood, #126707 - $21.95 clear)
Ink:          Versa Mark, Midnight Muse
Paper:      Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Comfort Cafe DSP
Other:      Woodgrain EF (#127821 - $9.95), Basic Pearls (#119247 - $6.50), Ovals Framelits Dies (129381 - $32.95)

Next time you are stuck for inspiration or a project to do, just open one of the catalogues and be prepared to get creative!  Back in a couple of days with the last card in this series.

Secret Garden Flower SAS Card Share

I recently had a Stamp-A-Stack class where we made 3 different cards using the Secret Garden Bundle.  Here is one of the cards we made .....

And the flowers up close ...

We used the Floating Reinkers technique to colour the flowers.  If you search for "Floating Reinker" on youtube you will find a few videos on how to do this technique.  Then we cut them out with the matching dies.  So darned easy now that we no longer have to hand cut out the flowers.

Stamps:    Secret Garden (stamp set and die bundle #131000 - $52.95 wood or #131099 - 44.95 clear)
Just For You (part of the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit #131395 - $15.95)
Ink:          Versa Mark, Perfect Plum
Reinkers:  Pretty In Pink, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum
Paper:       Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Shimmery White (item 101910 - $9.95)
Other:       Fancy Fan EF (#127751 - $9.95), Secret Garden Dies (see info above), Aqua Pen (#103954 - $20.95), White
                Embossing Powder (#109132 - $5.95), Scallop Oval Punch (#119856 - $22.95), Large Oval Punch (#119855 - $21.95)

Stay tuned for the other three cards.  I will share them over the rest of the week.

Happy Stampin ....
