Brushed With Beauty Bundle Birthday Card Tutorial with Layered Greenery

 Hi Friends!

This week in the craft room I created a fresh and elegant birthday card using the Brushed With Beauty bundle, and I absolutely love how the layers came together on this design.

The layout is a horizontal layered style that allows the die-cut greenery to really shine. By placing the detailed foliage over a soft patterned yellow background, the card feels bright and cheerful without being overwhelming. The neutral cream panel in the center helps ground the design and keeps the eye focused on the sentiment.

One of my favorite things about this card is how versatile it is. The structure stays the same, but you could easily switch out the designer paper, change the foliage colours, or swap the sentiment for something like “Thank You” or “Just Because.” It’s the kind of layout that becomes a go-to design once you’ve made it once.

During the live demonstration, I shared tips on:

• Balancing layered die cuts so they don’t feel bulky

• Using subtle dimension for depth without too much height

• Keeping horizontal layouts visually grounded

Elegant Floral Thank You Card Using the Brushed With Beauty Bundle

 Hi Friends!

There’s something timeless about a soft floral card, and this week’s project using the Brushed With Beauty bundle is exactly that — elegant, layered, and surprisingly simple to create.

For this design, I combined a subtle embossed background with gentle ink blending to create a soft blush glow behind the focal point. The textured base adds depth without overpowering the floral image, allowing the layered yellow bloom and green leaves to stand out beautifully.

One of my favourite things about this card is how versatile it is. The “I Appreciate You” sentiment makes it perfect as a thank you card, but this layout could easily be adapted for birthdays, thinking-of-you cards, or encouragement. Simply swap the greeting and you have a whole new look.

I recently went live on Facebook and YouTube to share this Petals of Beauty card, created using the Petals of Beauty bundle, the Words of Beauty bundle, and the Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper. This project is a great reminder of how powerful designer paper can be when you let it take center stage.

The soft florals, gentle colors, and layered details make this card feel elegant without being complicated. During the live demonstration, I shared tips for working with designer paper, layering elements for balance, and letting your patterned paper do most of the work.

Brushed With Beauty Floral Card with Layered Die Cuts and Soft Vellum Accents

Today I have an elegant floral card created with the Brushed With Beauty Suite. I combined images from the Petals of Beauty and Words of Beauty bundles with Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper and Pearls of Beauty embellishments to create a card full of texture and gentle detail.

One of my favourite touches on this card is the layer of vellum tucked behind the die cut flowers. It softens the design, adds depth, and helps the florals stand out without overwhelming the background. This technique works beautifully with many floral designs and is easy to adapt to other projects.
