Double Z Fold Card Tutorial with Velvet Meadow Specialty Paper

 Hi Friends!

If you love fun fold cards, today’s Double Z Fold card is one you’ll want to add to your collection!

I created this card using the beautiful Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Paper along with the Floral Flight Accents. These are also the two featured products in my September Club, Class and Monthly Tutorial Subscription, so consider this a little sneak peek at what we’ll be playing with next month.

The Double Z Fold is such a fun design because it gives you more than one fold and lots of different surfaces to decorate, but it isn’t difficult to create once you know where to score and fold your cardstock.

For my card, I let the bright florals and softer patterns in the Velvet Meadow Specialty Designer Paper do much of the work. The black accents give the softer colours some contrast, while that bright pink circle creates a strong focal point in the centre.

In the complete video tutorial, I’ll show you how to create the Double Z Fold card from start to finish, including all of the measurements you need to recreate the fold yourself.

And remember, once you know how to make the Double Z Fold, you don’t have to use these exact products. Change the Designer Series Paper, colours, focal image and greeting, and you can use the same fun fold for birthdays, Christmas, thank-you cards and so much more.
