Hi Friends!
When I recently shared this pretty Thinking of You card, I asked if you would like to see how I made it. The answer was definitely yes, so today I am sharing the complete video tutorial!
I created this elegant floral card using the Sweetly Sentimental stamp set from Stampin’ Up! The interesting thing about this project is that Sweetly Sentimental is part of a Hot Foiling bundle, but I did not use the Hot Foiling System at all.
I love finding different ways to use the products in my craft room, especially when a stamp set or bundle can give me completely different looks depending on how I use it. For this card, I wanted the beautiful large floral image to be the star.
The soft pink flowers and green leaves look beautiful against the white background, while the gold heat embossing details add a little elegance. The decorative corner pieces on the soft pink card front add even more interest and help frame that gorgeous floral focal point.
The Thinking of You sentiment makes this a lovely card to have on hand when you want to send someone a little reminder that they are on your mind.
I have included the complete step-by-step video tutorial below, so you can watch exactly how this Sweetly Sentimental card comes together. I share the measurements, supplies and all the little details you need to recreate the project.
One of the things I hope this project inspires you to do is look at your specialty products a little differently. Just because something is part of a Hot Foiling bundle does not mean every project you create with it needs to involve hot foiling!
If you give this card a try, I would love to hear what colours you would choose for your flowers.
Thank You for Stopping By! 💜
