Fun Fold Card Remake Using the Gears & Textures Bundle Creative Design Challenge

 Hi Friends!

This week I challenged myself to take an existing fun fold card layout and completely reinvent it using the Gears & Textures bundle — and I did it live.

The original card featured soft florals and gentle colours, but instead of starting from scratch, I kept the structure and rebuilt the personality. That’s one of my favourite ways to stretch a layout. When you already love the mechanics of a card, why not explore how far you can push the design?

During the live, I layered textured elements, bold gears, and industrial accents to create a completely different look and feel. It’s such a powerful reminder that layout and theme are separate things. You can take a delicate fold and turn it into something masculine, bold, or even grungy just by switching your focal bundle and papers.

This is a great exercise to try with your own cards. Pick a layout you’ve used before and ask yourself: how would this look with a totally different bundle?
