A video tutorial on how to create a beautiful card using the Detailed Dogwood stamp set available during Sale-a-Bration 2024!

 Hi Friends!

The Dogwood tree is the provincial plant for British Columbia, Canada.

I waited a long time to have one in our yard. I know you can get cultivated ones, but I wanted a wild one. And it's against the law to dig them up and move them unless you have a permit.

So when we purchased our lot 17 years ago to build our home, I looked and looked to see if there were any Dogwood trees in our gully.  Sadly, I didn't find one.

Well 2 years later after all the building was done and things had settled I was SO EXCITED to find a huge Dogwood tree right at the edge of our driveway where it butts up against the gully.

So when Stampin' Up! brought out the Detailed Dogwood stamp set, I grabbed it right way.

Here's the card I created during my facebook live on Monday night ...

I tried to colour it true to life, and I think I succeeded, at least true to life for the wild ones, the cultivated ones are a bit more colourful.
