Rhinos or Hippos? Which is Your Fav? Sunsets and Silhouettes - A Great Way To Create A Card

 Hi Friends!

Which is YOUR favourite? Rhinos or Hippos?

Our Northern Son has an orange Hippo tatoo on the back of his calf. I don't remember seeing hippos or rhinos live, but I did go to a few zoos when I was a child, so I suppose I must have.
I think Hippos are my fav
🙂
Hippos are cute and have a wonderful song about them.
They have incredibly sensitive skin and can produce their own sunblock.

Rhinos are adorable and can have one or two horns.
Rhino horn is made up of keratin - the same protein which forms the basis of our hair and nails. Javan and greater one-horned rhinos only have one horn, whereas all the other rhino species have two horns.

Creating a Silhouette card is so easy.  No colouring, to stamping, just die cut and put onto your background.

You can use designer paper for the background, or create your own.

Either way, the Silhouette Technique is a WOW statement.

1 - Grab a set of dies that you can create a scene with, then cut them from Basic Black cardstock (you may have to use Adhesive Sheet on the back of some of it if your die cuts are intricate).

2 -  do an "audition" of your die cuts by laying them out on your background to see which way(s) they will work.

3 - Then, using adhesives of your choice, adhere the pieces to the background.

Unfortunately the Rhino Ready dies are sold out, but you can use other ones like Grassy Grove, or Enchanting Details, or Majestic Mountains, or Palms. Any die set that can create some kind of scene will work.

I did a live demonstration on how to create a sunset silhouette scene on a card in my facebook VIP Group on Thurs. Apr 20 at 8:00 pm (pacific time).  I will be sharing the video with you tomorrow!
