How To Create A Custom Background With The Artistically Inked Stamp Set

 Hi Friends!

Wow, I completely missed getting my blog post out for Monday, December 6th. So here it is. My apologies for being late.

I decided I would like to make a card using the Artistically Inked stamp set, Artistic Dies, and not use the Expressions In Ink Specialty designer paper. I just wanted to use the stamps as they are intended and I think the result is quite pretty.

I was inspired for this card by one I saw by my friend Wendy Lee in the USA. I changed it up a bit to make it my own, and changed the colours quite a bit.  The background blotch in the stamp set is absolutely perfect for doing a custom background.  And you can overlap it and it still looks amazing.

Watch the video below to see what I did to the background after I created it!  You are going to be amazed at how much it looks like the specialty designer paper when it isn't!  I chose Evening Evergreen for the ink colour.

Here's a close up of the background for you.
