When Stampin' Up! brought back the Hey Chick stamp set from a past Sale-a-Bration promotion, I jumped for joy!
This stamp set was the same year I earned my first Incentive Trip to Thailand. That was such an epic vacation. We went over to Asia 10 days early and visited Korea, Viet Nam and then Thailand. Many, many special memories!
But one memory I won't ever forget was during a dinner at the top of a mountain! As first time achievers, Ted and I were invited to have dinner with some of the Stampin' Up! executive team. We sat at a table with Rich Adkins and a couple of other Stampin' Up! employees. The topic of Hey Chick came up because Sale-a-Bration had just ended. We shared experiences with the Chicken image and one of the European employees shared how he was not able to get the Hey Chick stamp set and hoped it would be coming back.
Well, it did, and I hope he was able to get it this time around!
I saw this layout by Mary Deatheridge. Isn't it wonderful? A great use of various shapes and sizes. I reached for my Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles and Polished Pink Stampin' Blends and ribbon.
I really like all the white space on this card, and the use of various shapes, sizes and textures.
