Hi Friends!
Do you enjoy colouring? I do, and it brings back many memories from my youth.
We used to have a cabin on Okanagan Lake in Vernon, BC. There was no power, but we did have road access. Back then our Parents stuck to the old addage "don't swim for an hour after you eat". So we were always having to find something to do after breakfast, lunch and dinner before we could hop into the lake and spend many, many hours swimming and playing.
One of our favourite activities was to take napkins - the kind with the emobossed patterns on them - and colour them with pencil crayons. Oh we spent so much time doing than, and I still remember those times to this day.
Another of our favourite activities was to go for a "walk up the creek", but that's a story for another day. ;)
But meanwhile, colouring is still a happy part of my life. I used Stampin' Blends to create this beautiful card. If you google "Succulents" you will find thousands of different colour combinations in real life. I chose to stick to greens with a tad of purple around the edges of the bigger ones.
I used a bit of designer paper too in keeping with "Just Use That DSP" !
Here's the video tutorial from my Make It Monday Live Stamping in my VIP Group this past Monday. It has a complete recipe as well.
Please enjoy!
Stampin' Smiles!
