Birthday Blast Birthday Card - Remove Ink Technique

Hello Friends!

One of the cards I recently made is a Happy Birthday card using the Birthday Blast bundle.  This bundle consists of the Birthday Blast stamp set and Star Blast dies.  It can be found on page 11 of the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue.

Here's the card I made ....

and a closer look at the stamped image ...

The technique where you ink up a stamp and then remove some of the ink (in this case pear pizzazz) and replace it with ink from a Stampin' Write Marker (in this case Cherry Cobbler) is called the Remove Ink Technique (at least that's what I call it).

1.  Ink up your stamp with Pear Pizzazz ink
2.  Use a Blender Pen to remove the ink on the stars
3.  Use the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker to add ink back to the stamps
4.  Huff on the stamp to reactivate the ink, and stamp your image

It is super easy and so much fun to do.  I will be offering this in an upcoming class.  You can find the information on my next month's classes on my List Of Classes page - you can find the link just under my header on my blog.  Or you can CLICK HERE to go to it.

A list of all of the supplies can be found below my signature.  Just click on any of the pictures to go to my online store and place your Canadian order.  Or you can EMAIL ME and I will be happy to place the order for you!  If you use my Host Code VPZ6RDU4 and your order is over $60, I will send you a package of 2016-18 In Colour Assorted Cardstock of your very own!  If your order is over $200 Canadian, don't use the Host Code as your order qualifies for Stampin' Rewards.  I will still send you the cardstock, don't worry!

Have a Crafty Day!
